The best DDR Version?

What, in your opinion is the best DDR? Think about a version that started a lot of the things seen in recent DDR mixes, and had a lot of really great songs, more memorable then any other.

I think this should go to DDR 5th Mix- It had a framerate a hell of a lot better than it's predecessors, causing the arrows to move much more smoothly. It's song layout was the basis for Max, Max2, and Extreme, and had some great songs like Ghosts and Orion.78 Civilization Mix.

If I remember correctly, the Arcade boards already have a sticky like this. Shoulda posted there.

And while I agree that 5th was the best, Ghosts and orion.78 (Civ Mix) didn't appear here.

Yo don't have to search. The whole idea of a sticky topic is that it "sticks" to the top of the forum. And besides that, this is a forum with thousands of registered users, even if I were new I would think something like this post would already be up. AND is you are so busy, then how do you find the time to post 22 times (as of Thursday, Sept. 25th at 2:33 P.M. Central Time) and not even search once.

anyway...

Song wise, i like 4th mix plus and 5th (i grew up on em)
all in all, i think 7th and Xtreme are by far the best all around

In my opinion the best mix is 8th however my favorite mix is 5th.

I'm gonna have to say DDR:Max2 is my favorite. Sexy Planet Momo Remix, Tsugaru Apple Mix, and Matsuri Japan K.O.G Remix are inredibly fun to play yet still remotely challenging. Some good memories back then.

There is no perfect mix....but there is a near-perfect combination of mixes. Any arcade with:

-DDR Extreme
-DDR 5th Mix
-DDR Solo 2000
-IIDX 9th Style
-Pop'n Music 10

Is a winner.
