I'm a guy AND I'm white. For some reason, I think that the Irish have the least rhythm of white people whatsoever.
I AM REALLY trying to learn how to do pop-and-lock. I've been trying it for 6 months and I have accomplished NOTHING. I need A LOT of help, seriously.
Other than that, I gave up on the pop-and-lock for a while and I started practicing the banjo. Now I'm trying to see if I can do a routine by playing some of the songs (bag, Sakura, Orion.78)
But I REALLY want to get pop-and-locking down. I can't do it and it's bugging the hell out of me |

Oh, yeah. I can dance (hence the name DANCE Dre). I do all kinds of things....I can imitate white people (I'm black....so danceing "naturally" comes easy), I can do some Michael Jackson dances, I can do almost anything I feel like (except break dance). People in my floor (I'm in college) make me dance all of the time, but I find it really funny.
I even incorporate dance moves into my regular Heavy DDR playing...I have an f-n blast every time I show up to an arcade. |

Never really danced til I hit high school. It was about the same time I found DDR. I started playing, discovered freestyling, but didn't freestyle. The I ran into a bunch of people in my school who b-boyed. I tried, but wasn't too good at it, so I switched to popping.
Now I'm a fairly good popper, fairly good locker, and am learning to break again.
And Wicked, I'd like to see your popping sometime. And liquid popping isn't an actual term. It's the name of a group in New Jersey called the LPC aka Liquid Pop Collective, I think. _________________

I learned a few dance moves from playing DDR but I'm not very good at it. |

I'm Irish-English-Cherokee Indian, and I can dance decently. :-P It tends to suprise people that a goofy white guy like me actually has rhythm.

When I was younger I used to do Highland dance, and I quite enjoyed that. I may not be the best dancer around, but I'm still pretty good. |

Raver - I can do liquid pretty well and learning now to do Poi with glowsticks on the ends.
I can also do some pretty good pop and lock stuff, just mess around with it. _________________
