im gonna need a new foot after tapping it to the beat over and over. lol
(i bet you were thinking cause i play DDR too much)
I just ordered my BNS DX-Xtreme pad, the one with the padding inserts. I read reviews and it looks to be a pretty sweet pad, just about as good as the RedOctane. I dont know what in my head made me want to buy the Topway PVC hard plastic pad, cause i also read the reviews of that, its its even worse than the kickass MadKatz pad ive been using since i bought DDR. Dont underestimate the power of 3rd party! Im also looking to get a PS2-to-USB converter for my StepMania game, which is where all my songs from my radio station are on. |

First of all... Good Luck w/ your web radio station! I just have a few questions for you...
- Software Required to listen?
- Broadcast Quality? (is it 28K mono or more like 40K stereo)
- Do you have enough UPSTREAM BANDWIDTH to support it?
Minimum Bandwidth required: 28K*20*1.1 = 616 KBps Upload requirement...
Unless you have like a kick-buttocks broadband connection or you're paying like $8/mo or more for broadcasting servers... expect to have some problems surfing online unless you trim off some of the users.
The only suggestion I can think of is pick up a "Song Request" server. WWWinamp (assuming you're using Shoutcast here) is a very simple DOS/Java-based server that can handle it. _________________
