| I'm wondering if anyone has tryed playing IIDX 6th Style with a Flip-Top Cover and the Swap Magic discs and if it works. I'm also wondering if there's any chance that the Flip-Top cover could damage my system. |

Flip top and 6th Style work perfectly for me and many others.
The flip-top will only damage your system if you don't install it properly. Same as any other mod.

For future reference: the fliptop mod works with every PS2 Bemani release. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work with PS1 Bemani though.

The Flip-top/Gameshark method for PSone games works fine, but the mod-protection the later mixes in Bemani games have (like Pop'n 5+, a few of the later BM games, DDR 4th and 5th, etc) don't work. Gameshark does nothing at all to defeat mod protection.
But yeah, in terms of PS2, the Swap Magic discs work on any Bemani game.
