|
|
Hi, I never got the joy of playing on an official konami pad... But I did get the Madcatz one, its was only 39.99 canadian... It, after a while got some issues with it such as.... OMG!!! THE SLIDING!!!! STOP F***ing SLIDING!!!! and it wouldnt pick up SOME arrows, but that was after 8-9 months... Anyways...what is your take on it... Which pad is better....A modded Home 3rd party mat or the KONAMI mat....
Also...have you seen the ULTRAMIX specs??? I think Madcatz made quite an improvement but weel have to see november 18th! |

Those thinking about buying a MadCatz Soft Pad take my advice: DON'T BUY IT!!!! The stinking thing slides easily, tears when doing tough songs (MAX 300, Paranoia songs), and looks like it was basically designed for Britney's Dance Beat (when I bought the pad, my sister thought I was getting BDB, I felt so embarrased). Thankfully, now my mom and dad are gonna buy me a better pad like a really good Red Octane Pad. Yaaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!!! _________________

I hate MadCatz pads. The first day I bought one, the up arrow go stuck. I like Red Octane Pads better than official soft Konami pads. |

I've had my pair of MadCatz pads for over a year and they've not failed once. They don't slide, they don't move a bit. The secret? RO pad covers and duct tape. The pad covers are a little small for the pad, but then you tape them on and tape the side and back edges to the floor. Suddenly, no pad movement. _________________

i'm not sure about konami but i did get the Naki dance pad that came with the original that i got off ebay.... They have lasted ever since.... Rarely a problem and usually fixed by smoothing the pad and careful folding to be sure not to break the pad.... |
