Yes. I always go for a perfect, and I once got my goal with three Naoki songs on Maniac and Trick for the arcade Extreme.

BTW, when is the DDR X-Box game supposed to come out?

To tell you the truth (no pun from the previous poster), I did take it seriously. I was awfully competetive, maybe not in PA, but in freestyle. I strived at being the best and creating routines people saw amazing.

Not anymore though, I don't even have the time to play these days. But you can definitely get caught up in it easily.

I kinda take it seriously. If im playing easy stuff and no one is playing with me i dont really care... if Im playing against someone then ill try harder. If im playing a song i never beat b4 thats really hard then ill concentrate. So i guess thats it. Bye

sure, it's always great to get better, and get higher scores and whatnot, but just playing the game is fun to me.

it's addicting, too, to add. 24 hours without ddr is bad.

but yes, back on topic. if i'm playing against someone who is better than me, or around the same level, i love trying to get better by learning from them. if someone is not as good as me, i don't mind what grade i get, just the fun of playing.

The only time i play serious is if im teaching a friend how to play, trying PA or at a tourney. I usually play to get better and to make new friends that also play ddr.

Yes, because I was tired of not placing at tournaments. To me, it's more fun AAAing a song than messing around.

Secondly, on topic - I take DDR way to seriously. I think I even started a thread on it, it's around somewhere I'm sure.

I mainly play it cause ddr is a super fun game but yes I do try to do the best that i can. Although when I don't do as good as I know I can, It's not that much of a big deal unless it's my first song and I fail. cause then I get really angry

Technically, I bought my DDR Konamix and RedOctane pad as a workout machine of sorts, so, I'm not too much into how well I do. However, in the arcade I try and see just how good I can get my ratings.

With a PS2 controller, I can hit perfect As nearly everytime, but since the pad can register Circle as left, if you stomp right left right left, I tend to miss all the left hits. Because it's such a pain in the butt, I tend not to worry about getting As, just worry about being able to complete the song with around a B rating.

24 hours without ddr sucks the bucket!

I was sick this weekend, and couldn't play ddr. I couldnt stand it! I obsessed myself by listening to songs and making my own steps for em.
