Ever had a day where you played amazing?

You know those days where everything clicks? That happened to me today during my 3 hour session playing on my max 2 jap and CF.

I had 3 cata A's and some other songs where i hadn't got A's.

Well somehow in god earth I A'd all the cata's today and a AA on Dead End, I feel and Tsugaru Oni.
I A'd every song I hadn't in one day.
That's about 9 cata's I think including Burning Heat and I even A'd waka Laka which i hadn't even got a D on before today(even tho it's an 8).

Only things I haven't A'd is Maxx Unlimited Standard and Heavy and Paranoia Survivor Heavy.

I know what you mean, some days I'm decent, then a coupla days I'm on fire. Like this one time I was doing Absolute and Midnite Blaze on Heavy and every arrow slowed down just for me, like I was the One of the Matrix.

I full combo'd Matsuri Japan on Standard the other day... sure that dosn't sound impressive, but I can normally only full combo 4-footers and pass 5 footers.

You'll have crazy days like that...My last one was about a month ago when i AAed HVAM and Witch Doctor on the same day, and I also added about 4 sdgs to my slowly growing collection....they're nice to have, but what sucks is that they're usually followed (at least in my case) with a slump (that i'm currently in). nice job on the scores though

*edit* well i broke my slump, got some new AAs and a AAA to boot..w00t for slump breakers

Two days ago, I went to my arcade to play some DDR5th by myself, and I was nailing every song perfectly (not in the literal sense): Dam Dariram {KCP Mix} (Heavy), Radical Faith (Heavy), Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Heavy), Era (Heavy), Holic [Heavy (probably one of the easiest 8 footers I've played)], Paranoia Evolution (Heavy), Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix) (standard), and some others; and as my last song before my dad showed up to pick me up, i picked PARANOiA Max (Dirty) on Heavy, and i was about 1/2 through the song, and only messed up once or twice, then my dad shows up. Right when he did, i looked, then completely lost my concentration, failing the song.

hopefully, i'm going back on saturday.

I think my lucky day was when i got AAs on bag and matsuri japan on heavy. It was my lucky day because ive never AA'd them since.

I rarely click some days and just perfect attack better. Im really consistent unless tournament time is near.

But I definitely have days where my legs work better.

I play so rarely at an arcade it's hard for me to tell when I'm having an unusually good day. I guess it was when I passed The Legend of Max twice with C's on heavy on my first tries. Otherwise it's just me having too much fun to care about my grade.

Back When I couldn't pass the high pivot songs like HVAM R&P and Orion 78. civ mix. I saw my friends at the mall play and they were all hella good and I was like **** I need to get better. Sayin HVAM and EE were easy so that night I went home and played HVAM and EE and couldn't pass them and I was like WTF!! Then, I thought about a certain someone

and forgot she played ddr too. So then I began to get motivated cause my friends played in front of her too and I was like **** this, no more playin around. I then almost AA'd Exotic Ethnic, A'd HVAM B'd Orion 78 civ. mix, and A'd R&P. Then I collapsed on my bed and went to sleep due to overextensive play trying to constantly beat R&P with a AA. I'm still heading to that goal till this day. Wow, what a small story.
