My first ever freestyle song was "moving on" - maniac
this song i found in the first ddr version i got, 5th mix. It sounded sooo kool but it was 2 ezy on basic so i went to maniac i mean it was soo perfect for me did my routine soo many times i'll never get tired of that song. *sigh* if only they could put it on extreme

I hate it,, i don't wanna admit it,,but i did it. "dynamite rave" all i had back then was ddr usa, nothing else..didn't print any step chart, had no mp3 to work w/, so my options we're pretty much limited.

Putcho Faith in Me, first one I ever memorized too.

I used to envy Mel B's "double bar hop" thing on that song.

I've always thrown in a little bit of extra movement - it's only since I found these online communities that I realised the full potential of FreeStyling, and my first real attempt was Spin The Disc doubles (great fun - I love that song!). Doubles is the key - so much FS potential!

lhiannonsidhe? FreeStyling is where you're dancing to look good/impressive/crazy/whatever, rather than dancing to get the maximum score/combo/number of perfects. Of course, you still want to do well, but the idea is to dance with the music, maybe throw in some stunts, but basically to have fun. Lots of fun! Try it! Remember, you don't have to be doing crazy 540 jumps, just feel the music and move how you want to.

First song I ever tried to freestyle was Bumble Bee. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I still love the song too. E1.gif It's a classic.

i got a dy rave routine which is still one of my best. i love that routine...its opened all the doors cuz there are just so many tricks to do that you have to pick and chose what tricks to do for each part. i'm not ashamed of it either. dy rave is one of my favorit songs and routines. otehr than that..i'm workin on a double routine edit for am-3p (original). and i have done midnite blaze. i also love to f/s to rythem and police. thats really easy too. the next dy rave some might say.

i've just started freestyling, but i almost
have a routine for "Do Me" on Basic finished....
I still need my suit for it though. (Think pimp hat)

We only gotta crapful 5th, so i am REALLY limited
to song selection.....maybe Matsuri Japan on trick/little....

Vol 4 (on 4th mix) and Stomp to my Beat..i then realized very quickly that freestyle was in fact NOT the way i was meant to go in my magely ddr studies..so i stuck with tech/PA.
