when I go visit another arcade to play Extreme it always seems they have a less, well taken care of machine with sticky arrows on the pads. The machine I play on is not very well taken care of and since it is the only DDR machine around for hours, I want to know how to take care of it.[/img]

It's not the players, but the operators or arcade managers who have to take care of the machine. Outer cleaning is fairly simple, some Windex or some 409 will work, but cleaning the arrow panels is a bit more complicated...I know the panels come off of the pad, and I'm sure there are instructions that come with the machines.

all ya do is unscrew the 4 metal brackets on the corner of each arrow, lift off th emetal brackets and low and behold the arrow will now come off. take it off and clean the inside, go into service mode and do an IO check to make sure all the sensors work etc.... not really that hard, i can replace sensors in about 30 seconds.
