Well, start at the bottom and work your way higher. Meaning start with 1-3 foot songs at the basic level and then gradually work your way to the harder ones.

I started at 2 footers, after about 3 songs completed I was doing 3 foots and then after a while it gets too easy and you move up, tho after 5 footer the learning curved seems alot harder.

The first time I played DDR, I was doing one foot song.
That was a long time ago though, Like 2 years ago.
I can do 9 footers now. E7.gif

the learning curve jumps from standard to heavy..i mean there aren't many standard songs that are all turning stream like exotic ethnic or rhythm and police..

but i just worked my way up from 1-10 on max usa and konamix.

On another note, did anyone spend a whole lot of time on Trick/Standard/Another on Single? Seems like once you hit 5's, you can start playing Trick, but once you're past 6's you can easily move to Maniac/Heavy/SSR.

I think I started with some slower 3's. I did a lot of jumping around from 1's through 4's though. now I'm just at a constant 3/4/5.
