Belts to distinguish level of players

Wouldn't it be cool to walk around wearing a belt that tells everybody that you play ddr and also your skill level...i've noticed on memory cards you need a machine to show eveybody your accomplishments...I got the idea from our recent tourny's...we usually give away trophies and i thought wouldnt it be kewl to win a belt like in WWE...but then what about a belt for everybody....Imagine a 3rd degree black belt in DDR!!!!!!

That would ruin my fun if people saw I was good by my belt I was wearing.

Jumping to the subject of skill belts, yeah, that sounds cool! You can brag about your DDR 1337-ness! Then when you start to lose against somebody, your friend can jump on the pad and smash the other guy with the championship belt, and-- *Bricked*

This reminds me of a strange conversation I had with a friend today. He was over at my place, just before we went to play DDR, and I was hanging up my Tae Kwon Do uniform, and my black belt, and he said something along the lines of how I should wear it DDRing and claim it's a black belt in DDR.

there's a major problem with the belt system.... anyone can buy a black belt. Seriously, just hop on www.awma.com and it's yours for like $10 or less. I imagine the same would be true of any DDR belts you could get. Besides, I'd rather go with something fruity like a pink feathered boa. Oh, sure, they may laugh, until you school them at Bag. Let's face it, anyone who goes around wearing a pink feathered boa is gonna have to learn to be tough, and when you get clobbered by someone wearing a pink feathered boa at LoM or something equally ridiculous, how would that make you feel?

Now if you had a belt that said "DDR" to say you play DDR, maybe... I'd have more fun wearing a fake afro wig to determine the playing level. Light Blue for beginner, Yellow for light, Purple for Standard, and Green for Heavy. Kidding of course, but trying to wear something to determine how good you are, not sure if it's going to get much attention. Next thing you know...

"Look at my belt, this means I can do ten footers easily!"
"OOooooh.... That's so cool!"
"Watch me take on Paranoia Survivor!"

Well, so much for that belt now.
