If you are playing extreme, bag and cartoon heroes are fun to play. Also sakura. But if you play ddrmax2 Burning heat is a tight song.

I think breakdown is a little harder to PA than waka laka. Last time i tried breakdown i got like 20 greats on it. Last time i tried waka laka i got like 15 greats on it. Both are not too hard to AA though.
oh and $2 for 4 songs is a ripoff. The arcade I usually go to has an Extreme machine set at 5 songs for $0.50.
Also you didn't say what kinds of songs you are interested in playing(not to mention the mix you are playing on)? easier 6-8 footers or 9's.... _________________

I can't pass Waka Laka, but I can pass Breakdown. I guess because I know how to do the runs correctly. _________________

I choose Waka Laka over Break Down. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I think Waka Laka is more difficult to PA than Breakdown, Breakdown is pretty easy. _________________

Waka Laka is WAY harder than Break Down. In every aspect, PA and passing. _________________

Idon't know about that... I really think that Waka Laka is harder to pass at first because of the jump-step patterns near the middle. They're really just different types of songs. I find Breakdown to be harder to learn to pass, and Waka Laka way easier to PA. _________________

Both songs are tough in their own way. I seem to have better PA on Bre\-/kdown then i do on waka laka..is there a secret to waka laka (like crossing over then doing the jumps, or just getting used to the damned song) _________________

You're also asking about Matsuri Japan...
In my opinion, Matsuri Japan is the hardest of these three songs to pass and Break Down the easiest. But it all depends on what your strengths and weaknesses are.
Masturi Japan = long strings of gallops, harsh on stamina
Waka Laka = fast 8th note run including several jumps
Break Down = fast crossovers / double-taps
Personally, I tend to mess up long strings of gallops, and I don't have much stamina, so naturally I had a hard time with Matsuri Japan. Break Down was one of the first 9-footers that I passed. |

Gallops tire you out? Wow, that's a first.. :o
Anyway, Breakdown is only slightly harder, for me. I can't do constant rapid steps on one arrow at least three times at speeds of 170bpm or higher, which makes it harder for me to full-combo/AA. _________________

I think Breakdown is easier than Waka Laka, but I still have trouble PAing it. It's too shuffly. I still love the song, though, just because it's one of the best songs in DDR. |
