I KNOW!!!!! E12.gif

*dabs eyes with cloth*
A couple others i've seen are when you jump over the bar with a spin, some one hand planted, almost did a handstand, hit the other arrow with his other hand, and came down on the other arrow(FC, of course), and (this one is hard to explain) he was facing left, bent over, handplant, he jumped back, hit the other arrow, handstand, and his feet came down on the other arrow. these people i see are sick.

I fixed it, please don't ban me. *begs for mercy*

I really havent seen any freestyle moves. Only those lame kneedrops and handstands. But the matrix walk sounds promising. Also the moonwalks are awesome!

Careful SpinterSoul, you can be nailed for post whoring if you have nothing to add to the conversation. To just agree with posting "I know" and even worse in an obnoxious font, is grounds for post whoring.

The only thing to be promised by a matrix walk is the promise that you are vieing to break the machine.

Seriously, we got a brand-spanking new DDR Location with a 4-month old extreme machine. This one dude who thought he was hot sh!t came in and did some random freestyles. Some were good, some were sub-par. We're all thinking this dude's OK.

...sigh...then...

He busts out with a Matrix walk. 2 minutes later, he was banned from the place.

Matrix walk = not teh 1337!

Brigg, I met someone who though the matrix walk was the coolest move ever, and him and his friend use it all the time. Unfortunately, he'll never get kicked out of the arcade there, because his dad was the manager. Oh well. Let him break the machine. I'll laugh. He also thought he was the bomb because he could slide a few arrows. This is after I did a few routines. Then he asked how I can dance and not get embarassed because of it. *shakes head* Some people will just never learn.

Anyway... favorite moves... hmmmm.. well, considering that I used to focus on stunts, I've got a number of them.... double barhop (flying split), variations of handstands (freeze arrows, going over the bar, flairing my legs over one bar and putting my body over the other), the eggplant (old school NJ people will get that one), the "handplant from hell" (suffice to say my hand wasn't on the pad... it ended up with me dropping down onto the pad from a bit of a height... about 6-7 feet), full split (with handslap sometimes, example done at Otakon), reverse barflair (try swinging a leg completely over the bar while you're on the pad facing the screen)..... I've done a lot of weird stuff over time.

As for now, it's mainly just basic dance-type stuff that I do... just me grooving to the music. From what I've seen, it ends up looking better in the long run.

Matrix walks CAN break the machine ,but I'ave done a few moves on the screene and it didn't even mess up the screen. My favorites are probally one sandstorm at the bennging on trick you can start a hanslap and contuine with a slow moving coffe grinder, on fire on trick you there are about 5 steps where if you postion yourself right can slap down on the back and pop up and re-do it about 2 times and a move where you slide over to the other pad and plant off the screen and land on the last step
