Before Extreme went into the Tilt in Wilmington, NC, it was 50 cents for 5 songs on a MAX2. Ever since Extreme moved in, it's 75 cents for 3 or 4 songs.

I'm lucky I live in Raleigh now, for the Cyberstation Extreme is 75 cents for 5 songs. biggrin.gif

I think that price is absaurd. I really think that the game should only cost .50 cents a game. Because at most places the pads are all frick up. The screen is all dirty and you cant see. I'm asking you guys as fellow DDR players, What do you think about this? About the price? And about the DDR mechines conditions to play on?

Man, our Extreme only has two songs unlocked, and it costs a dollar for three songs.

Still, for us, its a dollar well spent.

I go to a few places to play. Near my job is Rexplex. $1 for 3 songs Extreme. At first I thought it was great because no one plays there ever. However, when no one is playing, you tend to spend a lot of money very quickly. In Staten Island Extreme is 50c, but it's almost always packed.

At my local arcade (adventure landing) its usually .75 cents for 4 songs on EX or 7th but only .50 on 4th. But on friday nights the guys that work there set them all to .25 cents for 4 songs and sometimes .25 for 8. Maybe u can work something out w/ ur arcades manager.

Our extreme is 50 for 3 songs..which we love, but the pads are in poor condition, which is driving us to go to other places..even though they just have max2 (50/3 at one, and 100/5 at the other)...if the machine is in good shape and the pads are maintained well..i'd go $1 for 3 songs..that's what Illusionz in Seattle is..and it roxors.

Our arcade in Orem, Utah has an extreme and 5th mix (very soon). Three songs for 25 cents.. not bad. It also has a dancemaniax 25 cents for three songs, and beatmania 20 cents for 4 songs. Im gonna be so spoiled when I have to live in houston again and pay a friggin dollar per game..

Where I go to DDR, when EX came out it was a buck for 3 songs. Then as long as the game was out the prices went down, it was later 3 tokens for 4 songs, then 2 tokens for 3 songs, and now it's 2 for 4 songs. Hah, somewhere it's 25 cents for 5 songs. laugh.gif

It all depends on the number of songs. Like at the arcade I go to it used to be 5 songs for a dollar but now its 75cents for 4 songs which is more value. If you spend 3 dollars you would get more from 4 songs than 5 songs

The situation here is the worst- the only nearby machine is an Extreme in a theatre, so you have to pay $6.50-8.00 to get INTO the theatre part where the arcade is, then $1.00 for three songs. It's really annoying... maybe I should complain and say either lower the ticket price or the game cost, because it's REALLY not possible to go just to play unless you're going to a movie. frown.gif
