Once at Six Flags, I was bet $500 to pass Legend of Maxx, Heavy, 2x speed. All I had to do was pass, no other catches (yes you can bar rape).

Well I never played the song before, so pfft!

Wow.. I would really be tempted cuz I know I can pass at 1.5x... 2x would be pushing it by a lot, but then again, that's 500 bucks of motivation!

My friend had like a 10 dollar bet that he was better than some guy. This guy was telling him it was hard to full combo holic so my friend knew he was no match. My friend was all acting like he had never played, saying stuff like "light? this must be WAY too easy. standard? that mode must be for girls.. heavy, oh dude this guys cool looking!" and first stage he chose maxx unlimited and owned the guy. They played a the other two songs but he beat him each time. The guy hadda hand over all his tokens. it was like 5 or 10 dollars worth, i forget.

I made a bet with someone who said that i suck that I would AA max300 (euromix 2, not really challenging), and if i lost i would ask the old male arcade manager on a date, and if i won, he had to ask him. He left halfway through the song

10 bucks if i passed so deep.. this bet was made on a wednesday.. the event was to be held on friday.. they think i never played ddr..

unfortuneatly i had never playeed on a Max2 machine.. i didnt know what So Deep was.. and i assumed that they said Deep in You(because the "deep"s) i was just a stupid newbie..

i keep repeating (the name of the song) so deep cause im excited that im gonna get 10 bucks. and impress some people. i come home..and to my horror, i notice that it is called Deep In You.. and that i got the song wrong..

i check the step charts.. and boom... i was SCREWED... i never payed them

Hehe, back when funset had a 3rd mix, some guy that worked there comes up to me and says "I'll give you 20 tokens if you can pass the hardest song on here" and he picks paranoia rebirth for me

which I had, at the time, only played once or twice before, and I figured I could only get a B on it at most. I got an A, and the guy was like "holy crap, here" so I got $5 of tokens for beating paranoia rebirth SSR ^-^ if only I got tokens for beating songs like that nowadays... haha, I'd be so rich

I guess that's not really a bet but that's the closest I've came to one....

A friend of a friend bet me $5 that I couldn't beat him in 3 songs of his choice. I don't remember the songs, except for one of them was Waka Laka, but I do remember I got 2 AAs, a B (on Waka Laka) and $5.

i never really bet on ddr because everybody knows what my skill level is. theres no point because theyd always tell me to play psm oni, LoM, or maxx unlimited. the only songs i cant beat.

1 dollar.I lost.It was a PA against this kid alittle better then me he picked sakura which he can almost stealth but he messed up in the start and Ibarely passed it.both got D's but he had 10 more perfects then me.Then I picked R3 and he beat me still and the last song was random i cant remember what is was.So I lost.

I have made a few outrageous bets on DDR; the current one-$1000 to anyone who can carry on a meaningful conversation on the phone while playing Max 300 and beating it with both an AA and a FC.

If some one actually does this I will give them $1000; of course, it won't happen with anyone at my arcade, so it's cool...

I have made more reasonable bets though, like $100 to my friend if he could pass Maxx on doubles; no way that was happening though...he he.
