Hi everyone, I'd like you to do me a favor, I just got some of my freestyle vids up and wanted to know what you think, I've gotten mixed results but I'd like to see how you guys feel about them.
Mine are both "on the jazz" and Spin the disk", my "on the jazz" was more of an improv.

Okay, edit time:
These take nearly an hour to DL, but hey, just have it going in a window and continue surfing the 'Freak until it's done.
I saw the Spin the Disc freestyle. Well, I ain't no judge of FS but the dude never looked at the screen or nothin'. Then again, I couldn't see the screen so I don't really know how good that was.
That's the biggest problems with internet videos. The picture sucks. Someone should get a REAL camera and make a VHS or something that's like 90 minutes of "hot freestyle action!"

well.. i'll download it, but your site reallysucks and allows like 1k a second transfer rate. so just to warn, it takes people like all day just to download a small video off your site. |

I just got done watching your On the Jazz routine *clicks to download spin the disk routine*
For the most part I think it's good. But it also feels a little too routine-ish and not dance-ish (if that makes any sense). Like don't be afraid to hit arrows that you don't have to hit (or do some make believe 8th notes), or step on the metal diagnals every once in a while. And a couple times it didn't seem like a dance, but as if you were waiting for the next arrow to come. That means you gotta like throw in some crowd pleaser moves. I dunno, like you tried a few, and your moon walk wasnt half bad. Good work though, I think if you continue to perform it it will look even better. |

I couldn't agree more, the reason for waiting for the arrows is I try to stress choreography that goes along with the arrows, just enough to make sure I pass, but my "on the jazz" was an old one that I kinda brought outta the cobwebs lol. You will probally enjoy my "Spin the disk" routine better though
My "on the jazz" was also an old improv I play every now and again.
"Spin the disk" isn't really remotely new either, but your criticism is well approved, and is the reason for this topic I created. |
