me? I wear a pair of jeans or some other comfy pair of pants and a comfy t-shirt. and of course a pair of comfy sneakers with fun socks.

I always wear a big black t-shirt of my favorite bands and anime and some Hot Topic pants, but since I started playing 9 footers I just wear tight jeans. They help me move faster.

Unless I want to look cute for my boyfriend, who also plays DDR....

ex-boyfriend now....I just wear a cute, black, tight shirt and a cute, black, schoolgirl type skirt...with white lowered socks and my wannabe converse rocker shoes.

Yeah, Vans are good for ddr
but why would you wear a shirt that (while you are moving) gets in you way...I know they are light and confortable but it would be annoying for me that is just my opion

Short-sleeve, light-colored T-shirt - To keep cool while playing. Dark colors absorb heat, so I wear light colors.
Shorts with elastic waistband - The less weight, the better. Belts are heavier than elastic.
Rubber sandals - The rubber soles act as shocks. Also good for fast jumps, because they bounce.

I essentially scientifically engineer myself for maximum performance DDR. There's advantages to being a geek, you know.

I've been wearing shorts mostly because its summer and wearing pants to DDR is hot during the summer. I think I might stick to shorts from now on, better movement. Umm...I usually wear something random as far as shirt.

OMG, do you ever get crowds behind you when you play in the little pleated skirt? I know -I- do. All male too! Gee, I wonder why... I stopped playing in them ^.^
