ok, I'm just going to ignore the "fluxers" because they obviously get thrown into a blind rage merely thinking of the possibility that cobaltflux might not be the only place to buy a good quality dance pad. (not to mention a much cheaper dance pad.)
Hey, I'd be mad too if I spent 300 dollars on a pad, then someone comes along and says you can get a different one for half the price.

Anyway....i'll post a complete review on this pad either tommorow or Saturday. If you care, just keep checking.
I'll need help putting the pictures up, if anyone could host for me, I'd appreciate it.

I just think it's moronic to complain about diagonal buttons when there are plenty of DDR Solo machines scattered throughout arcades all over the US. One would think that you didn't know very much about DDR. Not to mention that many of us that have been playing for more than a few months have copies of 4th Mix, Extra Mix or Konamix at home.

Damn! Why is everyone here so hostile! So the guys made a few assumptions, I say it's great that he got a metal pad he's happy with. Sounds like you all want him to get a horrible disease. DDR players need to stick together no matter what. I too am waiting for a review, I'd like to compare it to my CF which I got around the same time as him, so we can compare them as they hit a month, 2 months, and even 6 months.

Uh... I don't know about him, but being able to play and pass a pie is going to put more wear and tear on a pad that being stuck on standards. Although, most people who can't play as well as me still step harder than I do (they step harder on 2-3 feet than I do on 8-9 feet). There's also the issue of time playing. If you play everyday and he plays once a week, that gives the BNS an unfair advantage.

I finally opened up the pad and guess what?

SAME AS COBALT.
Its simply 2 pieces of sheet metal making contact with each other.
To be honest, this was the only thing I was affraid of, but now, I'm 100% glad that I bought this pad.

I'm having trouble with my brothers digital camera though, so you'll have to wait a little longer for pics. Hopefully by monday.....

For your info, I'm quite the avid DDR player. I've passed max300 before and I'm guessing thats what you consider a "pie", right? Plus, I dont live near any machines so this is basically my only fix, and I plan on playing at least three times a week.

When my pad survives six months of hardcore playing, then I'll consider that 170.00 in my pocket.

Does the pad creak or bend or anything? I'm kinda referring to the 3rd party metal pads that have earned such a bad rep. My friend had one and it broke in a few days... I'd like to be able to step safely. ^^

No, it doesnt make any noise, only your foot hitting the panels.(like stepping on concrete or any other hard surface.) like those cobalt guys say, its just 2 pieces of sheet metal making contact.
It cant really break.

Thank you for making this thread, and please add any updates regarding the longevity of the pad. Everyone else just wants to diss BNS, so i enjoyed seeing another person's side.
