I'm really good at singe so therefore I play double a lot more. The only time I'll ever consider myself really good at double is if I ever pass Moonlight Shadow Double Maniac (7 feet my buttocks ) |

Because of the price, I haven't played doubles a lot. And as I result I suck pretty bad at doubles. I will probably play doubles after I get really good at single. |

I've been getting kinda bored at singles because I reached a plateau and I don't have enough chances to practice so I've been trying to start on doubles. It's a lot easier to move from 2-4 foot double songs then it is to tackle a new cata. After I feel I've humiliated myself by sucking on doubles long enough I go back to playing singles. |

First off, there's an entire "How to play double" section on the Tips and Guides page. It should help you get started on the basics of what to do and what not to do.
The most difficult thing in playing double in the beginning is position recognition. Just always stay conscious of where you're stepping and if you hit the metal plates (instead of the arrows), take note and make sure you go the right distance next time.
Classic easy songs like Kick The Can and Holic are still there to help you get the basics of maniac/heavy double steps. _________________

Personally, I would prefer doubles over singles any day. It draws more of a crowd when you run back and forth over the pad. At least that's what happens when Phil plays. _________________

Doubles mode is definitely the way to go.
Twice as many arrows + Twice the space = Twenty times as many FreeStyle moves. Oh yeah.
I love it, the crowd loves it, everybody's happy. (Now, if I could only get the audience to help with the increased cost......) _________________

If I was a better singles player I would make the transition to doubles. Sadly i'm only 'standard' at best as far as singles is concerned. (I can do some 'heavy' but not consistently) I have tried doubles and it gives me quite the workout. Once I overcome the singles barrier I would be more then willing to give doubles a shot. It only seems natural to progress to doubles after you've mastered singles. Doubles would also give you a freerer range of motion since you got a wider canvas to work with... |

Singles, Doubles, I do both consistently. The paranoia doubles are a very good workout. _________________
