Nonsense language from a rotating head, high tension and a firm beat.
From a 5-match janken match I guide comes tactics for big opinions.
Nonsense language from a rotating head, high tension and a firm beat.
From a 5-match janken match I guide comes tactics for big opinions.

35 plus 4 divided by 2, the partygoers who don't burst open don't know,
This sociable sound demon screwing into an obtuse angle easily,
They dunno where from or where to, but anyway he divided the sound.
Everyone's winding chatter is a dangling handkerchief.

An alteration in the radar and in the nonsense coming over the airwaves,
If you start snorin', your heartbeat that's goin' up as much as your personality changes
Is really greedy, but there's power and land of the priest's staff
And since I was born, I've kept on playin' like this.

Nonsense language from a rotating head, high tension and a firm beat.
From a 5-match janken match I guide comes tactics for big opinions.

From 3rd street to 4th streeth, from main street to the carnal desires,
Pack up the duties left to you, take it all gently,
Really, you don't have to worry if you extend over to this slow train.
Don Pach Don Pach Don Today, on this Japanese island where they're sexin' it up.

From 3rd street to 4th streeth, from main street to the carnal desires,
Pack up the duties left to you, take it all gently,
Really, you don't have to worry if you extend over to this slow train.

Don Pach Don Pach Don Today, on this Japanese island where they're sexin' it up.

That time, that time, I give respect, we'll break it all apart, yo, just like this example.

These are what the lyrics translate into. Why does this song make no sense? Another one is Boom boom Dollar. No sense.

Ill give you the rundown...

This song trasnlates so wierd because its in a different language, and not all the translated words ryme as well... its not like there singing nonsenese, if we took one of our songs to thier language it would sound crazy to them because none of it would ryme

The sad thing is that if you hadn't included this little bit, I would have thought you were serious.... (some people think like that)

Well, shitty rap-rock songs don't make much sense in English, do you expect them to in Japanese? The main problem is translation. It takes an expert to turn something written in Japanese into clear English that preserves the original intent, and vice-versa. Pretty much any American songs would make just as little sense if translated directly into Japanese.

They're two languages that evolved in completely different directions. Compatibility is hard.

Spanish puts its noun modifiers after the noun, not before it.

Anyways, if you ask me, Daikenkai is good but the English lyrics are fucked up. Does that matter? No, not much; it's too much good insanity (not-quite-Engrish?) to be wasted.

Sadly enough, I can sing Daikenkai. (does spouting words at staccato pace really constitute singing?)

I can clearly sing the first part of the song, but I need a lyric sheet.

Her he her he her he, I can pretend to speak japaneeeese.

English is not an ugly language.

Daikenkai doesn't make sence in the first place, and the person who translated it for everyone did the damn best he could.

English is known as a pretty "complex" language due to al of it's freakin grammar rules....but that's apart from the point, the point is that Daikenkai is a good song in Japanese, but when translated in english, it tends to not flow nor rhyme as well, thus making it sound like crap when you try singing along to it in English E15.gif . But seriously, once you think about it, they're alot of songs these days that don't make much sence either....take rap for instnace E15.gif . hehe, don't get me wrong, I like some rap for it's good beat and rhyming skills, like Busta Rhymes (which is mainly the only Rap artist i like other than the suga hill gang), even though the lyrics are preeeeetty gay/make no sense when you ctually listen to them......That's kinda like Daikenkai, awesome beat and sounds kickin even though the lyrics are messed up......yeah.... Oh well, I hope somebody understood what i meant.

And mind you that there is NOTHING wrong with boom boom dollar devil.gif . Don't mess with the classics

The song doesn't make sense in English.

The song doesn't make sense in Japanese.

Translation is not the problem at all.

The song is.

www.animelyrics.com confirms this. The site says that Daikenkai is said to not make sense to speakers of Japanese.

Who really cares that it doesn't make much sense... well actually I think it does, in a way... anyway, it's a cool song, with or without lyrics that make complete sense translated. Also, I can sing the whole song, too... I might be strange, but it makes sense to me... laugh.gif
