"I like to move it." From DDRMAX PS2.

I remember hearing it on the radio when I was 5 or so and it kind of mystified me.

one of my favorate songs Heaven by DJ Sammy and Yani on the next home version of DDR on the PS2 and that is probally the most notable song on DDR for me.
Also Busy Child from the Crystal Method is a pretty tight song

Ok, here goes:

I was bored one day, so I was on a different DDR site, looking at song lists. I got to Solo Bass 2000 and I nearly screamed.

I DON'T WANNA MISS A THING!!!!!!!

THAT'S BY AEROSMITH!!! That's a DDR song?

Just to make sure it was the same one, I clicked on this site, went to the links section, clicked on anime lyrics, and looked up the lyrics to that song.

Sure enough, it's the very same one. Just slightly different.

Now I really wanna hear it. E2.gif

For me, songs like that would include...

Lupin the Third '78- Eurobeat cover of one of my favorite anime themes?! Awesome!
Enter the Dragon (Revival 2001 Mix)- I'm a huge martial arts movie fan, and they made a trance remix of music from a Bruce Lee movie? Yes!
Flashdance (What a feeling)- Whoa, they got this one in DDR? Yeah, it's a speed remix, but it's still obvious what it is
Saint Goes Marching (remix)- 1st thought when I saw this: "How the bloody hell are they gonna make that work on DDR?!"
In the Navy '99 -XXL Disaster Mix- Not a Village People song!! NOOOOO!!
Last one- Odoru Ponpokorin AKA Dancing Pompokolim- WTF? The theme from anime Chibi Maruko-chan, and covered by CAPTAIN JACK no less?

I totally agree with u on that.

I was really really amazed when I saw some of my favorite songs from SM become actual playable arcade songs, best ones for me to note are : XENON, COLORS (I love colors laugh.gif ) V, and of course SYNC. I also downloaded Sakura right before extreme came out, and that song has has since been one of my all-time favorites.

I was kinda suprised to see that Duran Duran had some hits remade with ordinary world and reflex. BTW my mom used to listen to em

Songs like The Reflex I found to be a pleasant surprise. But the only song that truly shocked me was The Never Ending Story. I have always loved this song since the debut of the movie. I could hardly believe that somebody out there actually made a cool remake that sticks with the original concept and still manages to work as a good dance song.

Whenever I play 5th Mix I always play The Never Ending Story. Man I got it stuck in my head right now, becuase I haven't played it in awhile.

For me, it was Be Together. I don't think that most people know that it was even a cover song, but it was a Suzuki Ami song that I had had on CD. I was surprised to hear it because it was a pretty obscure song (at least in the US), and kind of amused that they changed the lyrics so they made a bit more sense in English.

Some country singer also had a hit with it.

I'll say ...A Minute. It's got Rob Base on it! (i guess)

well, classical music is great to listen to. especially if theyre remade for ddr. its nice to hear songs like V and kakumei. V, which is originally the winter part of the four seasons keeps the original sound for the most part. but kakumei (japanese for revolution) was sort of disappointing. if youve listened to the revolutionary etude by chopin, youll recognize the skill required to play it. the ddr version only keeps the main theme.

You need even more skills to play 'M' from Beethoven's 7th symphony. I've heard the original Revolution, and the Kakumei puts a new-age sound to it. I still like Kakumei, but it's very far from mimicing Chopin's. E13.gif

Sorry to piss you off, but...A and V. They're just not very danceable at all. Neither are:

Sakura
L'amour et la liberte
Across the Nightmare
Kakumei
Daikenkai
