Plastic used in home modding guide?

I'm modding my pad following the guide here (for reasons other than pad lifetime... details later) and I can't find the supposed "hardwood floor covering" from Home Depot. My first attempt at modding used clear, 3mil sheet plastic, but 1) it was super slippery, especially in socks and 2) tore at the staples. I went to the Home Depot store and web site and I couldn't find any product called hardwood floor covering.

Does anyone know the product name for the plastic sheeting used in that guide? Or maybe recommendations for another type of sheeting?

I don't know what it's called exactly, but it comes in a big roll and you can tell them how much you want. And don't get the kid with spikes on the bottom.

Go into the rug department and there will be an aisle with all kinds of clear plastic floor covers. there are kinds with spikes and the kind without the spikes. also i found it to be easier to use tape to hold down the covering. while this renders your warranty useless, i found it to make the mod better. another thing to try is instead of plastic, get a 12" by 10' long piece of wood, have them chop it down, and use three pieces of wood to let it fold up.
