When I first played, I was so addicted, I didn't realize my foot was going numb. By the end of the day, I misstepped and fell off the pad and landed on my chin. The floor was carpeted, so I didn't myself too bad.

Nowadays, the only injuries besides the usual fatigue is when I'm angry/stupid enough to punch a wall or bar after failing.

First time I played Afronova at the arcade I got so wound up in the turning (Hey it was my first cata) I slipped off the pad and stumbled hitting the wall. There were a few chuckles, the only thing that was hurt was my pride.

this still happens to me and ive been playing for a year now just not as much as it used to. when i play ddr alot at an arcade (usually at like ins for 6 hours) my damn legs will get charlie horses. then i gotta walk around the arcade like an buttocks trying to get them to go away. its funny as hell to see me do this.

well i was doing orion heavy and theirs a part where its like up and down then right arrow like 5 times in a row (you might not know wut i mean) ne ways when i hit the right arrow the last time i slipped and rolled off the pad.no pain...just funny!

This happened last night... it was in the Southwest section and the inspiration for this thread. Not for the faint of heart. I just modded my pad with particle board and when I was goin for the left arrow, I overshot a little so my foot landed halfway on and off the board real hard. My ankle buckled and I went down. Needless to say I'm pretty thankful it happened at home and not in front of people...

ohh i just remembered something i did before, and its probably pretty common....i pulled my groin muscle playin a hard 9 or 10 footer where i had to bar rape....kinda ironic i pulled my groin while 'raping' the bar haha...needless to say, i didnt play for a couple days

Once I was playing in my phat farms shoes (which arent the best ddr shoes to play in) i play so much for so long that I guess I slid my foot wrong and broke one of my toe bones.
And another time the same thing happend but I twisted my ankle and sprained it.
I saying if you're not gettin injured by this game you're just not putting enough effort in it. In my opinion anyways.

Well cos im in school still, i only get to play every few weekends

well last weekend i just played over and over and had a sweat attack and started coughiing like a spastic, then the next day i oculdnt walk cos my calve was basically locked.

When I play too hard and too long I end up hurting my ankle.. I dont know why , must be all the stomping.. I have to take a week off DDR because i sprained my ankle or something :/

I've had a blister on my left big toe ever since I started doing heavy songs.
It went away and all the dead skin has peeled away. But now there's another blister growing where the old was. I guess thats what I get for beating Cartoon Heroes, Sakura, Witch doctor, So Deep, and other 9-10 footers over and over again.
