Anything that you think would Improve DDR, post here!

I think there should be deduction arrows. These arrows would brake combo, and deduct some fraction of points. Freestyle to that!

How about 8 arrow pads? 4 arrows just aren't enough for me. Let's get technical Konami!

beatmania mixed with ddr to make beatmania revolution you use the pad and the keyboard at the same time

Technical Improvements I think could save DDR (by keeping it fresh):

8 - foot pads
maybe instead of a square, I thought an outline of a circle would be cool, so that you had 360 degrees of areas to step.
Combine DDR with the game where you move your hands to hit the pole, I think it's called "Para Para"

Game Improvements I think could really really save DDR:

Versus Mode Crush: A Vs. Mode with a vertical bar in the center of the screen, the better you dance, the more the bar closes in on your oppent, making it harder for him to read the arrows, eventually, he's shut out and you win and finish the song in style

Versus Mode Shrink: Now, the better you dance, the more the arrows shrink, making it harder again to read, until they're practically invisible

Versus Mode Buddy: Where one dance pad might have to hit three arrows at once, making it necessary for both players to hit one side at the same time, and not hit each other. This would really promote unison dancing.

Versus Mode Takeover: A Vs. Mode that would require an 8 foot pad, it works with a scoring tree, everytime you climb one unit higher on the tree than your opponent, you gain one of his arrows, say upper right for example, then for the rest of the match, his steps loose that aroow, and yours now have that one added on, the goal is to steal all of his arrows.

Single/Versus Mode Fall: Where the arrow outlines at the top of the screen are slowly falling down the screen, the only way to keep them on the screen is to dance good and accurate, once they're gone, it's game over

Single/Versus Mode Scatter: The arrow outlines are scattered across the screen, instead of in a line, can be combined with fall.

DVD drive. COMPLEAT MIX. SOLO ON BOTH SIDES. 4 players. 2 wide screens. dolby 5.1. Multiple interfaces. charictars and fmvs.

As for ddr_dragon's 360 pad thing, I got another idea for that.
Combining this and sliding, maybe there could be slide arrows. Something like freeze arrows, but instead of holding only on one place you gotta slide your feet to other arrows.
Also, there could be a mode when the arrows flow like the ones in Extra mix's Challenge Mode's (in Trick) Sexy Planet. (That will be good for MAX 300! E4.gif )

How about characters and a fan-chosen songlist, later voted on by other fans, so we can get some of the decent music back?
