I'm often called jingles cause when i go to play i dont take the tokens out of my pockets, i keep forgetting. and as you prolly guessed it makes a large jingle sound

But that was a nickname a bit before DDR. It just so happens to be short, simple, fits into a high score name, and it's less common than "Michael".

I think the concept of a DDR nickname to be rather silly. I have a nickname from much earlier than DDR that people occasionally call me, which is... well nevermind that, most people just call me Geno, as it's my OTHER nickname.
