10. You have named your cat Sakura

9. You consider getting 'Max 300' as a vanity license plate for your car.

8. You ask for a DDR machine to be put in the employees lunch room so you can play during breaks.

7. Working longer hours for a payrise? Who cares about a payrise, you still need to pass MaxX Unlimited.

6. If your spouse isn't going to start showing interest in playing DDR with you soon, then it's time to think about a divorce, or at least a temporary seperation until she/he comes to his/her senses and starts playing DDR.

5. You take a Japanese course so that you can learn to sing the lyrics of Daikenkai to the song as you are playing it.

4. You think that Freckles is actually a really cool song and not annoying at all.

3. You want to sell your new car, so won't need to save up for your own DDR machine. Who needs a new car anyway, a new DDR machine is much more important.

2. Social life? Like outside of DDR? Not bloody likely...

1. You bother to come up with pointless lists about DDR, like this one.

heres my own little list, all of which apply to me:

- your routine diet/workout involves ddr
- you have a set schedule of when to play, and what type of songs to play each time you play
- you can complete maxx unlimited heavy without losing your breath
- you can full combo a heavy song with 15 greats, and be pissed because you did "bad"
- your buddy list contains more "ddr ppl" than any other kind of people
- you can make up steps on the fly to any song you listen to
- your last two or more girlfriends have been met through ddr
- sigh

...you try to logically deduce why Konami rated song "x" "y" number of feet, and then go online to argue over it.

...you try to figure out why song "x" has so much choas, stream, et.al.

...you try to mathematically solve the points system.

...you harp over every little mistake in the game (like the stream and voltage bonus being reversed in the results screen).

...a "big" night out involves going to the arcade to play DDR.

...you download pictures of people's AAA to reassure yourself that it can be done.

...you listen to songs and rate it's "DDR potental".

...you freak out over getting a handful of greats on a song.

...you post on DDRFreak. E13.gif

Freckles Wouldve been better if it were the original japanese version from the Kenshin intro.

-You learn to play the bag-pipes just so you can play bag.
-You spend 50$ a day on it at your arcade.

Exactly.. That's why I like Freckles. It's from Kenshin, not because it's on DDR. And so what if you name your cat Sakura? What's so bad about that? In case you're completely ignorant, Sakura means "cherry blossom" in Japanese. It's not just a DDR Song. And even if you named it Sakura after the song, then maybe someone might like IIDX.. or JUST THE SONG. And maybe someone names their cat after a anime character? Think about that? Matt's list is a lot better but the MaxX thing. Maybe someone might play like once a month, but runs like 20 miles every day and they think MaxX isn't tiring at all?

I think I'll take the first one. E4.gif

Or maybe you just missed the point of the joke, and then dissed the original poster because his original post wasn't as good as someone elses.

laugh.gif Um, we're only allowed seven characters, including spaces.

My last name is 5 letters long, and in high school I did have a personalized plate with my first initial, space, and last name. Heh. Too easy to remember if I was out doing vehicular crimes - i.e. donuts - so I eventually got rid of it.

DDR4EVR, LUV2DDR, PLAYDDR, KONAMIX, DDR7MIX, EXTREME...

There was someone in Vegas with the plate "DDR 573" but ironically he has no idea what bemani is at all.

Hehe, well here are a few of my own little things...

1. You are about to take a road trip. So, you go on the internet and check all the DDR locations that are on your way to your destination. You stop at one or more of them.

2. You have different pairs of shoes for specific arcades around you.

3. You take 2 hour road trips to visit the 5 people you know who play DDR and end up leaving the same day, just so you can get back to watch someone AAA something really back home.

4. Your main places are: The car, your bed, someone's apartment who lives near an arcade/ddr location, and the actual arcade/ddr location.

5. You go out of town and stop at a random arcade that has DDR and most the players there can only play basic or they are new. You start busting out anything on maniac or play doubles(basic even), and the person running the arcade just starts letting you play for free because you end up drawing a huge crowd.

BTW - I travel a lot. ^.^

- You attemp Freestyle on Max 300

- You imagine playing DDR in a confined space

- One time, I was at the supermarket, and at times, the music kept sounding like DDR songs, like Burnin' the floor, The least 100 sec, and Dynamite rave.

- You hope DDR will be better than Bowflex

- You think DDR has super-inhumain speed capabilities.

I'll make more later

3. You have DDR music on CD's at home. E13.gif

4. You get all pissy when you cant go to the arcade(those of us who dont have theyre own car)

I remember seeing a list that had like, 200 of these. I actually CAN sing along with Daikenkai.... When I get my car, I am going to attempt to get a vanity plate that includes DDR. When I re-find the 200-some list of these, I'll post the link.
