Is it possible to play 10 footers without holding the bar...

i've seen many 10 footers passed without the bar, then again i've seen many fall without the bar

Whenever I play Max 300/MU starting I will play without the bar, I will bar rape if I need to. LOM, I will use the bar from the start. Sakura I don't use the bar. So it depends.

Genom Screams was a 10-footer on doubles since DDR Extreme came out (the Club mixes didn't have Maniac steps for double, so they were added for DDREX).

It's not so hard. I mean, it took me longer to AAA V Oni than it did with Genom Screams Double

I NEVER use the bar, but then again, I can't play 10 foot songs either, only 9

But JDC(Jesus Dancing Christ) Yeah, he plays 10 foot songs all the time withouth the bar, he played (and passed) Demon Road and I didn't EVER see him use the bar. Then again, he is Jesus, isn't that saying enough right there!?

I also started at home where there were no bars, so i see no point in using it at the arcade.

It is quite ridiculous to see someone bar raping a song on standard, i dont think it is NECESSARY to use the bar on any songs, it just helps to use it.

And i can pass MAx 300 and PS without the bar, it isnt that hard, you just have to practice and build your stamina.

i was at deh arcade last week when someone was playing
So Deep/maniac using the bar the entire time and failed.
i played it afterwards for my second time
and nearly AA it, no bar.
i've beaten bag/sakura/paranoia survivor.
almost finished max300.

So I dont think the bar is needed.
