Indeed.

This site needs a Computer forum. Hey! We already have an imaging forum! And a Marketplace... I seriously think a Computer forum will be no bad to the site. It would be good.

There are plenty of innocent script kiddies, not-fully-knowledged internet lurkers, programming wannabes (like me!) and other kinds of people who would love to have their place to discuss.

I posted some technology-related topics in Random Chat, but I don't do that anymore cuz I'd get complaints of filling Random Chat with topics like that. We used to have a thread on computers, but I think a forum would be better. It's such a general topic.

Anyone who seconds this vote in favor.

I hope you do it too.

I don't think we need something like this. Imaging's useful because if we didn't have it, Random Chat would be filled with 5,000 threads from people who wanted banners and avatars. Marketplace is good for Bemani traders. I don't see enough computer threads in Random Chat to make it worthy of its own forum here.

A few months ago in Random Chat, we had an "Everything About computers" thread. It managed to stay on the top page, and get to 30 pages, without a sticky.

I don't really think there are that many things that can be said about computers, and if there are, it could all easily fit in one thread.

This is just my opinion, and not official word of DDR Freak.

I believe the general consensus among the mod staff is that we already have too many forums, and adding more off-topic (i.e. non-DDR) forums is unnecessary. Don't hold your breath for any new forums to arrive in the near future.
