Won't detect opposite double steps

Stepmania won't detect my steps when I push left and right or up and down. I tried ignore joy axis but that didn't work. I am usint psxpad drivers, bns ultra dx-xtreme dance pad, and the parallel port adaptor that comes with the pad.

Do you know for a fact it's an issue with the pads? Try playing with the keyboard once if you don't just to find out. And are you using CVS? If so, it could just be a bug that will go away soon enough.

Nevermind, I got it to work. I needed to use different drivers.
