There is one guy whom I call "The Stomper - Destroyer of the 1P down arrow (tm)" (I do have a picture of him AAAing Buttefly Standard, but don't feel like hauling out the old digicam to put it up anytime in the near future), who has been playing for about 4 or 5 months now (word from others), and everytime I play, he claims his best is higher than anything I ever do (i.e. I get 8 greats on Cartoon Heroes Heavy one day and he says afterwords that his best is 3).
Well, I know this guy is lying and talking himself into a corner, and when it comes his turn, he picks V Heavy, and gets almost as many greats as Perfects, with a few misses in there. As his "C" comes up he complains how "unfairly difficult" that song was and how Konami should "make better steps".
I asked him what his best is on it (just for laughs). He says he has already AAAd it. You can almost hear the laugh track being dubbed in.
His most annoying aspect is that he stomps loud and hard enough for the staff to boot him out of the arcade on a semi-regular basis. Seriously, I have to get a video of this guy playing sometime. You thought the videos with Take/Yasu had some audible stepping... |

You know what you should do, next time he says he's AAA'ed something that he just got a C on, bet him like 10 dollars he can't AA it. _________________

Seishinbyou
Next time he comes, play a song, ask his "Best" on it(Perfects, greats), and after a while, play it again. ask him then, and he should screw up his answer
Or quiz him! say, how many steps/bpm is you'r fave song? etc.
Topic(Sort of): I would call myself a semi-good dancer (Say... 4 foot out of ten), but the thing is, I have NO endurance, I do not make escuses, nor have I heard any that would be post-worthy, but would it be okay if I made up some?

Seishinbyou: Get a video. And bet him 5800 yen (about $50) that he can't AA V on Heavy.
On topic: I haven't heard any good ones, and I only ever say I'm tired. (Why wouldn't I be tired after Break Down, Burning Heat, and Kakumei in a row without breaks?) _________________

Only one.....I walk up to the machine, wait for my turn, watching a person on Twilight Zone: Heavy. After a bit he starts goin downhill rather fast, and on his failing step he misses the arrow. After he fails he looks down at the arrow and murmurs wtf....
I never make up excuses during or after a song...the only one i use if i dont think ill make it is "Ill probly fail." Of course, no excuse is preferred _________________
