Those hard pads =TEH SUXOR.
Seriously those things are the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
I used to have some that were similar way back before there were metal ones readily available.
Take my advice or don't, just don't say you weren't warned. pokemon.gif

No, don't get those, they would be a poor investment... It's all about the homemade metal ddr pad... tongue.gif

Actually, I've heard that they aren't THAT bad if you are very light, like under 130 pounds. This is just what I've heard, so I dunno.

I heard those pads use springs that wear out fast. Not to mention circular sensors.

Make sure your investment is a good one, don't just go for the cheapest you can find.

NOT TRUE. While they work beautifully till they break, they still do break-- within like two months for sure.

Ours were tough but horrible to use. The raised buttons were annoying, the noise was annoying, the noise they made was annoying, the round buttons were annoying. Do not get them.

Holy crap DO NOT buy those. They are the LOUDEST freakin things in the world. It's like 6 horses trotting down a cobblestone lane! LMAO! laugh.gif . I had one for about 3 days before everything started going wrong with it. The wires were coming out of the front, The arrows were sticking (a total pain in the buttocks to take apart), they stopped lighting up. I'd rather have a Mad Catz beat pad than those! hahaha.

Bottom line: DONT GET THESE!

They are terrible. They are the worst pads I ever seen or played on. One time I was at Fry's, looking for dance pads, I came across this one and gave it a try. (They plugged it into a PS2, TV out.) I can't even beat Paranoia Light on that pad. Also, the next time I went there, the pad was broken already, messing up the game itself.

That pad is actually just a piece of plastic with 8 giant buttons. And big giant buttons supported by springs equals easily broken.

I recommend you to buy soft pads instead.
