|
|
Hey all, I'm thinking about purchasing 2 of the new RedOctane Metal Pads. However, before I do, I have a few questions that I need anwered. Here they are:
1) Are all the buttons the same size as the arcade?
2) Are all the buttons the same size as each other; on the pic on the ReOctane website, the solo buttons look like different sizes.
3) Does the pad feel like an arcade pad? |

The pads not available yet so I can't answer your questions, just get a Cobalt Flux.
And you don't need to bump this, it's 9:30 in the morning here, just check back at the end of the day and some people might have answered your question. |

It shows the dimensions at the bottom of the RO page.. I'm just waiting for someone to buy one, and see how it holds out.. Because they look HELLA SWEET (looks cooler than a CF) And im thinking of buying one.. But if they don't turn out as expected, then I'm going to build one.
But, I really want to buy a RO Pad, because I'm not too good with soldering and all that Shizz.. _________________

Yeah, the minute someone gets one of these, let us know about them. I'm seriously considering one of these instead of a CobaltFlux, so any info would be greatly appreciated. _________________

I'm with SuperRob - just waiting for a decent review before I blow $200. If money weren't so tight, I'd go get one and stomp it to death and tell y'all about it, but...
And, Tamago-kun, who says the CF needs to be soldered? Hell... I've never heard of any pad needing to be soldered, unless you do some funky stuff to 'em. _________________
