AutoPlay in SM question

Is there a way to set a specific arrow/button to be pressed when it is shown, and nothign else...

Like the middle one in PiU mode...so i can use a regular mat with it (the corners...square circle triangle and X)....

Also....on the options menu...what is AutoGen?

I'm pretty sure you can't set one button to autoplay for PIU.

Autogen allows stepmania to try and create certain things for you. The courses option causes stepmania to create a nonstop course for each song group you have with all of those songs in it. The generate missing types makes stepmania make up steps for songs that don't have a specific type (for example 6-panel or doubles on originals that none have been written for). The problem is sometimes these autogen step charts don't come out so well, like they'll try to have you step on 3 panels at once or something like that.
