I actually thought that the System S.F. Mix of Drop the Bomb was much better than the original. The remix to Drop Out was slightly better than the original. Some remixes I didn't like were the remixes to My Summer Love and Wild Rush. _________________

wild rush remix was pretty horrid as if id say... Everytime i think of this song it reminds me of Mossimo doing a freestyle and using the bar to act as if it were a stripper pole... God that was funny _________________

Wild Rush Remix is okay, but it's not my favorite remix. The steps are way too easy to pass on Heavy Singles or Doubles. |

Drop The Bomb System SF is a song that requires time for you to tune your ears to. It sounded horrid the first time I heard it too (and this is the last unlock after 200 songs?!), but then after playing it enough times I got used to it more than the original, even though I still think the ending makes no sense whatsoever (not that the original had a satisfactory ending to begin with).
I miss all the tempo changes in the Wild Rush remix. Besides Sakura, I don't think there had ever been a DDR song that makes as much tempo changes as Wild Rush, and yet they didn't take advantage of that special aspect about Wild Rush in Max2, and made a blend and uninteresting remix instead.
But for the most part, remixes usually do sound better than the original... _________________

I think the remix of Ecstasy is cool, but i like the steps for the regular one better (mainly the 16 beat pause of happiness ) _________________

Burnin' The Floor (Momo Mix): Doesn't really add much for an already played out song.
Paranoia Survivor: Very challenging, but sounds virtually the same as the rest of the Paranoia's
Trip Machine Survivor: Somebody in another thread suggested that Trip Machine should be named "Noise Machine". Trip Machine Survivor doesn't improve on it's predeceser's problem.
Dynamite Rave (Down Bird Sota Mix): The most played out song gets a remix that doesn't even compare to the original, yay!
Tsugaru (Apple Mix): Basically the original Tsugaru with missing instruments. Basically has all the life sucked out of it.
Maxx Unlimited & Legend of Max: The Paranoia serie's problem is that they all sound pretty much the same. The problem with the Max 300 remixes is that Maxx Unlimited is incredibly bland. And that Legend of Max is somewhat bland, but just isn't as well paced and doesn't have much rhythm.
Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix): Pretty much the same as the original, only not quite as good.
Drop The Bomb (System S.F. Mix): A remix of a fast paced and exciting song turned into a trancey song. The problem is that the trance elements don't have any inspiration and just comes off as a bland version of the original.
Healing Vision (Angelic Mix): I really wanted to like this song. The idea for an even more fast paced Healing Vision is pretty cool. However it is too repetitive for it's own good.
Orion .78 (Civilization Mix): I can hardly consider this music, it's just a simple beat with somebody pretty much singing to themself. The original was awesome, this remix gives it a very bad name. |

I have to agree with what seems to be the running discussion in this thread.
Drop The Bomb: Excellent, powerful song, really gets you going.
Drop The Bomb S.F. mix: Poor. Others have claimed it's not poor, just trancey. The thing is, trance music is also, in general, very poor. _________________

Luv 2 Me Disco Mix. I -hate- it. I also hate Healing Vision Angelic Mix. The song gives me a head ache, and the steps are too shuffly to be fun.
I'm glad no one has said Higher -next morning mix- because that song is awsome and really fun to play. |

Hm... I actually enjoy all the remixes of the originals.. except Orion.78 Civilization, of course. The Ameruo Mix was good, I still like it, but the Civ. mix? Uh-uh. No way. Gross.
If anyone says ANYTHING negative about Still In My Heart -Momo Mix-, I will be severely mad. Same with the Ecstacy midnight blue remix. _________________

The instruments aren't missing, they're just tuned down a bit, with an extra (and very cool-sounding) instrument added over the top. |

Dynamite Rave(Down Bird Sota) is lame..
Afronova(FNM) is dull, takes away the song's energy..
Do It Right(Harmonized 2-Step) isn't very good, and Do It Right didn't need a remix in the first place.. _________________
