Sad to think some people would only play to attract the opposite sex... I play because I love the game and enjoy having a good time. It goes the other way too, I don't like someone just because they play and or are good at it. I like them because I've taken the time to get to know them for who they are outside of the arcade. The people I meet have (for the most part) the same interests as I do.

I always considered it to be one of those "extra" things. Like, if it happened, and it worked out, I would thank DDR for helping with it... but I don't ever get mad when girls don't approach me as I play (I especially wouldn't get mad now... I'm taken  ). That's just silly... |

| LoL, that gives me a great idea if I had a serious girlfriend and we played DDR together or something. Anyways I just play DDR for fun, playing with the regulars who play often, and with friends. I don't DDR just to hit up girls cause I already have interest in a few girls I like. |

If you go to Dance Clubs to get girls, then you are going for all the wrong reasons. Just dance, nothing else.

I can't get any girls.....AT ALL.
I mean, alot of times, I'll play with someone that's as good, has a real nice personality, about my age and size, looks good, talks to me alot, but I'm sooooo scared of girls for some reason!
I alays be quite and stay away, because I'm scared I'll do somthing stupid, and say somthing stupid.
I wonder when I'll ever get rid of this fear.........

Dance clubs are way different than DDR. The majority of people there either go with their significant other, or are looking for one.
DDR is just a game. You go to the arcade and put in your tokens so you can smash arrows for a few minutes. Most people are just playing for fun, and that is all it is meant to be.
Occasionally you will meet someone of the opposite gender at the arcade, and that's normal for any social gathering. Then you become friends with that person ect, ect.
What I was talking about was people trying to impress girls/guys with DDR just so they can get dates. If the only reason you play is to try and impress people of the opposite gender, then you are playing for all the wrong reasons. |

I was seriously thinking of going out with one of my guy friends when he asked me. But he was just interested in cuddling and watching romantic movies. I always insisted we go to the arcade and play ddr but he never liked that.  I actually prefer guys who go to the arcade and play ddr over guys who just wanna makeout w/ me...so i sed no to him...
