Well, first let me introduce myself. I am Clover AKA Loren living in Co Spgs Co. My first day to the board, but long time lover of DDR. I've been playing for about a year, but only regularly since about March. I play Heavy mode mostly 6, 7, and level 8 songs. So anyways, I saw the posting about dating DDR girls, so I figured I'd do one about boys. I've met a lot of guys playing DDR, yet none of them are what I'm really looking for right now, but I'm a sucker for any guy who can play a video game like DDR really well. I would love to find a guy who can play really well and be a good boyfriend, thats my dream. Because the other guys I date; I'm like, "Let's go play DDR!" and they act like they're going to the dentist because they have to go with me or something. Girls, I'm sure you can relate. So, yeah, just wanted to put my 2 cents in. But if you're a good lookin guy who can play.... Anyways! I'm glad to be on the board! Hope to talk with all of ya'll soon!

| Neh, I'm a guy, but I will just go ahead and toss in my 2 cents. I play DDR, love the game, and would absolutely love to meet a girl that plays DDR. Would be nice to play that, compete with your GF, and be spending time with her and doing something both parties enjoy. Ah well, prolly won't happen. |

Well to put in my tidbit... Since most people say that guys get their girlfriends to play and that's how we get DDR girls...
My recent ex played the game about the same time as we met, however never had a machine around him so he always did it at home. I watched them (him and his friends) for quite a while, very shy and swore I'd never do it... After moving back home to CO, I saw that our precious Citadel had a machine and my interest started to grow. It was only after they upgraded it to 7th mix that I couldn't hold back and had to get on the pad... He didn't get me to play, just influenced it...
I've met many guys playing DDR. Only a very select few have I been interested in... BloOdTearz, a guy I met in CA named Mike, and most recently BossyCow. Currently I haven't dated a guy I met through DDR, however, I somehow see my next relationship being one started from DDR.

Because like 5 people play DDR in Colorado. It's a good chance it's her. 
It's it's funny because I think this topic got started because we had one for guys, or maybe I'm thinking of something else.
I won't meet any girls playing DDR, because I go to the arcade to play games and hang out. There are other places to meet girls. Also, if I do meet a girl playing at an arcade, it's a long shot that they are going to be close to my age.
But it would be nice. |

I wish my gf was more interested in DDR, but, oh well. Like at the pool the other day, I said I have to go to Salina Thursday, and she goes, "To what, DDR?" She says it like it's the only thing I do and live for. I'm actually going for school supplies.

I'd never let her say that to me! Unless she was joking...
Anyway, every DDR girl I've ever known falls under 3 categories:
1.) Already taken.
2.) Bitch.
3.) Not legal.
And besides, I don't really think I'd want to talk to just any girl. All the girls I've seen play DDR are also very...weird.  Maybe if they wanted to know me better, I'd oblige, but since I already have a life outside of DDR, I could easily get a gf and introduce her to DDR...

The one time I went to GameWorks, I saw this one really tall guy playing DDR. He was pretty damn good, AA'ing everything he played. Then he left and after a while, he came back with his GF. I was thinking to myself (hey, another DDR maniac with a no-play GF) because she just sat down and watched him play for 5 rounds. Boy was I wrong. The next game, she got up and started AA'ing songs with him. Both of them got As on the extra stages they got too. I was like o.O
So it seems that having a DDR GF would be really cool (and even cooler if she could kick your buttocks at it =-)

Oh, Oh, Oh, I almost forgot. I met a guy where I work last week who plays DDR. He actually got engaged last Friday... playing "I do I do I do" and then after the song, presenting the ring to his GF. His GF isn't a heavy player yet though.

Hmmmm...well, I'm 18, very single, not taken, not mean, and not wierd, well, I don't think I am, just very outgoing, and really funny! It's because you live in Georgia, I used to live out that way, I'm actually from Alabama, so yeah, everyone out there is pretty wierd, you just haven't come up to Colorado to see all the mad fine hunnies who play DDR.
Maybe if you get so lucky you'll meet the cool people who play, but are ACTUAL people with REAL lives. I've met some of thoes other people before*shakes in fear*. Anyways, come to Colorado, all 20 of us who play will show the rest of ya'll a good time!

If you play DDR to get girls, then your playing for all the wrong reasons.
Same thing goes for girls who play to try and get guys. |

You forgot to add "IMHO" to the end of that sentence.....
Maybe DDR isn't the best way to find a GF, but if you already play DDR, it doesn't hurt your chance to meet someone nice.
