I mean the beginner mode has all the songs with like a difficutly of 1 or the highest is 3 if you choose like a max song. Just asking how many uses this setting to did you just play the basica mode and start from there.

Cause i dont think beginner mode is necessary unless in the arcade just do the traning or practice mode do the lessons and go from there. Thats what i did and beat put your faith in me the first day i played DDR

I learned to play DDR on a 1st mix. "Have You Never Been Mellow?" was the beginner mode.

Soon they upgraded to 3rd mix and I still sucked. Beginner mode on that mix (if I remember correctly) was where the first half of the song was easy - then the regular "basic" steps kicked in. I didn't like the shock of changing difficulties in mid-song, so later just carefully checked the feet rating and played from that.

Beginner mode (as Extreme has it) should have been thought of long ago. I hate watching n00bs fail and suggesting that "the first four blue songs" are the easiest in the game (7th Mix).

I hate to say this, but I don't like Beginner mode. One cause you get no BG and I think n00bs should start on Light instead of Beginner. I've seen a guy play a song on Beginner, and his feet are always in the middle. N00bs they never learn! Know you know why sometimes I refuse to play with n00bs cause they never learn and play on Beginner. Play on Light and quit complaining how hard the song is and play the whole song instead of just quitting after a few notes.

up.gif Answer to you problem: Play doubles thus you get to play alone. And that is how I started playing doubles because of stuff like that. What annoys me is someone playing on light.... BAR RAPING even! And um yeah resetting their feet back to the center. Yes see it everytime I go to play. 3 & 4 foot songs subject to rappage. For the love of god why?

Yeah I do that, but when it come to Singles play I prefer to play alone. If you suck and I don't know you well enough forget it. I know I'm mean, but I rather play with a regular knowing he can hang with me or a friend. I don't hate noobs, I just won't play with them. Sides, I don't teach them the proper way if they're gonna act like immature jerks.

I first started playing at home, when Konami bundled pads up with DDR USA. I thought I was the sheit, so I started out on Nonstop mode and got my ego deflated, and played through lesson mode. After that, I proceeded to fail Drop The Bomb (and horribly!) E4.gif

I never used beginner mode, I played on light from the get go, after a couple of days of basic i realized how difficult the game was and went to lesson mode. After i got out of lesson mode i continued to whore light til my friend finally moved me up to trick. Ive kicked his ass at ddr ever since E1.gif . DDRUSA was such a big help to me.

Omni shoved me onto lesson mode and told me to keep at it until I can do all of the lessons. That i9s where I am now. Man, Lesson mode ruled on USA home. Let Them Move rocked my socks.

I had never even heard of beginner mode before I played EXTREME (I played on konamix, MAX, and MAX2 my first several times), so I just started out on light/basic.
