ABC Family's Dance Fever Mall Tour

wow. i just called my local radio station, which is hosting the Dance Fever Mall Tour here in Boston for Wednesday, 23rd(WXKS KISS108fm). i was callin to get more specific details on time of freeplay and time of touney. (Considering i've heard: noon-4: freeplay then 4-6 touney. and 4-6: freeplay then 6 is the tourney. along with many other combinations.)Well, she didnt really kno, so she had to ask her supervisor, and this is what i got from them:

1)"Open auditions start at 4:00pm."
2)"Solo or with others acceptable."
3)"ABC will be there filming the auditions and there's a chance that they will put it on the Dance Fever show on ABC Family."

Basically, NOTHING at all liek what i've heard here. If it wasnt for this site, and the pictures and feedback of the past dates, it would seem that this is all WRONG. NOTHING to do with any "machines".

ok, i got that off my chest. im a bit more happy now. i guess ill try and stop by.

so yea praster, i just wanna be teh first to say this. alotta kids are pissed about the tourney. but im pretty sure i can speak for all of the kids i was talking with at least that you were cool.

however, ive got one thing to say about the pad condition

i coulda whupped you good on hero if it was a brand new 8th mix

I think the tour is about halfway over, and the locations for the Baltimore and Washington tour stops are still not listed. Seems almost to me that they want to avoid the whole "Mid-Atlantic drama" thing, but then again, they're still stopping in Freehold and in Philly, so it can't be that.

Does anybody know where the tour is going to be in Baltimore and in the Washington DC area? I'd like to know where I'm going before I can get the required days off, you know.

lol, and NO, i did not draw any of it. lol, its all parts of the tatoos. i had a few and just cut them all up.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but after the tournaments, were the machines open for freeplay or at least P2P? I'd enter the tournament, but I'm a minor.

Ok. I just need to know if they check to see if you're 18 or not. And does fake IDs work?? =p

I'm only 17 and can top max300 at 313 combo. So I'm pretty good at maniac. I really need to know what they want to look at b4 they register you. Any info would be highly appreciated.

there is TONS of freeplay, dont worry.

and they take your ID and check it thoroughly

ok so i gotta couple questions for those ppl who already went to the dance fever dance machine tour. ok so if im under 18 cuz im 16 i cant play without a parent or guardian or can i have a friend whose 18 sign me up?? next the machine is a solo 4th mix machine and i do i have to play 6 arrow or can i go normal 4 arrows. cuz i can full combo ne song on 4th mix with the normal 4 arrows but idk about the 6arrow stuff please answer my quesiton asap since the new york new jersey one is tommorow at freehold and ill b goin hopefully. thanx for the help

so yeah, I am Freehold New Jersey typing this post from a compusa. Yeah I am cool?

anyways, the saturday show is going down like this, all 6 machines will be up and running. free play will be on most of the day, there probably will be an improv fs competition, all the pads do suck so do come knowing that they all suck. The whole area will be set up in the fountain area of the freehold mall. everything is free, registration, entry, must be 18 to enter, 12 plus to enter by yourself for freeplay. you can play 6 or 4 panel songs. 4 panel will be used for the tournament only. There will be about 3-4 rounds that can last for 5 hours. "not in my control"

come out strictly for fun or you might be disappointed.

actually kris I did run help run apart of mws2, just didn't plan it.

oh hey. How bout Fake IDs?? =p. When you say "they check you throughly", meaning they wanna see just an ID of yourself?? or like SSN and all those junks. Cuz the philly one is coming up and i sure hope I can get in if that's the case =D

How tragic that the date for Atlanta is the 11th, a mere two days before I will get there for college. I was just wondering though, Pras mentioned that there were only three machines left now...by the time it gets to Atlanta, how many will be left? Will they ever get more?

Is there ANY news on the Baltimore or Washington DC locations yet? Or is the tour just simply skipping over those two cities altogether? I haven't heard confirmation one way or the other. The event in Philly is on a Wednesday, and I can't get off work that day, and the Charlotte event is on the weekend of my 10-year high school reunion.

I'd love to have ABC Family pay for my trip to Las Vegas this year

the mall in virginia will be in alexandria and it will be at the land mark frontier mall or something. Balitmore has not been decided yet.
