In a perfect world, that's exactly how I'd do it, but I simply can't swing my feet around to hit 16ths at 180bpms. I don't see how anyone could move that fast. It's the same way with those 16th jumps at the end of Slam. Friggin impossible, I tell ya. |

Well holding the bar helps, and watching the pad also helps for foot placement, and for the 16 jumps in slam, all i do is put my heels on the button and vibrate my feet, works pretty well. _________________

I am confused about recent developments of Pump It Up. Didn't Andamiro lose the suit Konami filed against them? Is Pump It Up The Premiere 3 a recent release of 2003-03-05? |

Andamiro didn't 'lose'. They just settled the copyright issues, and Andy paid Konnie a bit of money. So now that the lawsuit's settled, Kon can't get anymore cash for 'infrigements'. But it doesn't bar Pump from being produced still.
Premiere 3 is brand new, released March 2003. There is rumored to be a new 9th mix released for Korea, and with popular demand and support, Andy just might bring it over to the states. |

:Ignores stupid comments from lil' kids: You'd think people were over the 'PuMpiTup sUkz, DDR rOOlz!' kind of talk, but apparently it's still around.
Hey by the way,
If anyone hasn't been to Dave and Busters in a while, they are having a midway game sale, and all games are 20% off.
My Pump machine is now 5.8 credits (5.2 gold), and since I always buy $25 at a time, I pay only $.19 per credit.
This ends Septemer 1, 2003. |

No arcades around me have DDR, but they had Pump It Up. So I tried it and I like it just as much or better than DDR. Although I would like a DDR machine.
Of course the arcade I go to more is Korean so I can't read it so I can't play the songs I want to it's just random. |

it kind of sad really, I recently got a couple girls I know into pump (they have no prior dancegames experience) and they've already had to deal with the people saying 'OMG!!!1!ONE! PUPM SUX BECUZ ITS NOT DEEDEEARR!!!1!'
I wish more people would jus play for fun, I even had a a friend's boyfriend take a big liking to pump because he just liked how the steps flowed. |

Nobody cares about Pump? Considering that you havent even been on these boards for very long, its probably safe to say that you havent been around much, and have no idea what you're talking about. And no one here cares about you. |
Well put
I like pump because it test your physical abilitiy as well as speed. Holiday doubles for example, very hard song i can get a B on it but im just about dead when im done. Also Mr Larpus, though its only 190 bpms, you gotta twist like a freak, and you HAVE to if you wanna get a god grade on the song.
DDR is more for accuracy, because its very rare going to a new DDR location without anyone that can beat all the hardest songs with at least A's. But with pump few people can beat the hardest songs (im still longing to see someone other than me who can do Larpus DB, and Slam crazy in south carolina.)
......wow thats my longest post, yay for me. _________________

Huh? You know that background music that plays on Pump It Up Perfect Collection's difficulty selection menu? They had that as background music on a Sealy Mattress commercial. It was a cheap commercial too. (Yes, I'm sure)
And do videos exist of people playing Slam on Crazy Mode? I don't care if they full combo it, but an A would be nice to see. |

um theres used to be a korean site but I think it went under. Try Kazaa or Imrc or something I used to have a poopy but not anymore.
Is it just me or is Mr. Larpus not that hard I know its super hard on doubles but I tried it for the first on single the other day and passed with a B. Its a super fun song though. _________________

I've seen two videos of Slam crazy, but have since deleted them or forgot where I saw them. One is a guy whose cousin does Random 2x speed in his dress shoes.. you hear all the clickity clicks of his heels like a tap dancer.
The other is these two kids in a basement home with crappy lighting, but the dude gets down on his hands a lot for some of the regular steps (non- triples).
They both get C's in their vidoes. |

Anyone see the news on Prex 3? From what I hear it sounds pretty cool. The new modes sound interesting, I'm curious to see just how they work. Too bad I don't think half-double's gonna make it, but there's always hope. |
