It's just...for some reason, I feel that if I use that badass $50 pad for my tough songs, it'll rip and tear and explode into tiny pieces. What I'm wondering is, will the life of the pad still be substantial with really fast songs, like Max300? I'm currently using a DPR2, and I'm really outgrowing it... _________________

Considering they're one of the best IgnitionPad clones, you'll be fine. I use an IgnitionPad 2.0 and I pass catas with ease, though I'm not good enough for 10-footers yet (I can read them, just lack stamina. >_<).
It'll be a definite step up from the DPR2, which I once used alongside of my IgnitionPad. Then I traded it for a rather cheap IgnitionPad clone that'll suffice until I build a metal pad. _________________

I love my BNS DX Ultra! Its witstood many cata's and 10 footers (max300, maxx unlimited). It has been going strong for about 7 months now. It will be a great upgrade from what you have now thats for sure! |

My BNS DX-Xtreme Dance Pad is perfect for my cats and 10-footers(disney mis 10 footers). Its helped add so many catas to my list. I highly recommend this pad. I have tried this pad on Max300 Heavy Speed 4 and I got an A on it.

Just to echo the others, I have one and it works great for everything. I've gotten all A's and AA's for all the catas in DDRMAX, and a B on Max 300.
The only problem I've had is my down arrow has gotten overly sensitive, and sometimes gets triggered when I stand towards the back of the center panel, but I've managed to fix this by partially unzipping the padto just past the down arrow. This loosened the cover a bit and stopped it from triggering the button too easily.
I've owned the pad for about 5 months and have used it very very heavily (hours a day for a couple months). |

If so, I'm gonna order it right here, right now |
Yeah, it can. I learned Crossovers on this style of pad, and I can do songs like Saint Goes Marching and Rhythm and Police with nary a problem, aside from the fact that I still suck at gallops. _________________

It can move a bit depending on the surface you have it set on, but not significantly, and since the arrows are slightly raised you can feel where they are so the slight movement of the pad doesn't matter.
R&P is one of my favorites, and I actually do slightly better on it at home than at the arcade. |

Okay, I am officially jealous of all of the people in this thread. I got my BNS pad maybe two weeks ago, and already when I've been playing for an hour or two the down arrow sticks, and I get occasionally boos on jumps. I've been playing pretty much all catas on it, and I'm just thinking that no soft pad can withstand repeated catas, even from my skinny behind.
The pad is the best one I've used so far, by all means. It's just that it's still not good enough to full combo in oni mode =\ _________________

www.buynshop.com
To chadarnook: Are you playing without the insert? I've had my BNS pad for almost 2 months and it is still as responsive as the day it arrived.
