Lots of Rules

Wow, that stuff was really well thought out! That system makes perfect sense and would work in busy locations IF people actually respected rules and such. For the most part, the coin line, confusion, and conflict seems to be all they are willing to stand.

This afternoon, there were three sets of players at the local DDR. We didn't use a coin line or nothing. We just knew we would take turns.

It was so beautiful; the cooperation. E12.gif

Using paper at our location seems unnecessary since having three or more players wanting a go at DDR is a rarity. All the regulars tend to come in at different times of the day.

I've read stuff about how people in japan do it. They don't need a coin line or list, they just remember who went and let who hasn't gotten to go yet, go... if only everyone was like that.

Unfortunately, the coin line is really confusing to keep track over here disgust.gif ... Today the coin closest to right is going next, tomorrow it's closest to left, next day it's whoever has theirs in the machine, day after that it's just random x_x etc.

If there are so many credits or coins up on a machine that you can forget or lose track of the order of the people it's not even worth sticking around to play, unless you are all friends or something.

I hate how people in my area can get really annoying with coin lines. Instead of just lining coins or cards up some people put pennies and quarters right in the very middle of the ledge. It's always the same people who do this to. The reason it gets annoying is becuase they just sit there and if the line gets to long it can become very confusing.

AAAAH!!! *head swells up and explodes*

Coin lines are not much of a problem for me, despite people taking my coins thinking im tipping them or something.

The only thing I have serious problems with is the thing listed above, There will be 5-6 coins on the left side of the machine and then 2 people will come and put 2 coins on the right!

You just think "oh, BOY, this will be fun..." and if you try to move them over to the left they start doggy at you, saying some crap about losing their place...

Personally what I think their trying to do is confuse everyone and get their turn early.
(ie. 5 coins already up, they put 2 on right, more ppl put coins on left, after 3 players they start doggy that its their turn)

but other than that its a mystery to me...

But then again there could be some stupid simple rule that I dont know yet and noone has bothered to tell me riiight.gif
