|
|
I've fallen in love with ddr, not only as a game but as an exercise regiment too. I've been doing well for about two weeks... I'm just starting to get to heavy and lose a little weight too =) I've recently found out about Pop'n music and IIDX... these games are so cool! I'm going to take a trip down to a big arcade in NJ (8otB) so I can try IIDX and some of the other DDR mixes.
My question: What's the "next" Bemani game? Be it a new version of DDR... some other crazy game (kazoo maniacs? )... I'm just curious if there's any information. |

It doesn't seem like Konami's really interested at all in releasing a -new- Bemani game.. I think they're happy with their current lineup and their future mixes.
As far as the next Bemani release goes.. I believe Pop'n 10 is next in the lineup for arcades. _________________

What could they make as a new bemani game?? They pretty much have all the good stuff covered, and if they made something else, it would be similar to something else they've already done.
Think about this... they have done dancing with hands (dance maniax), dance with feet (ddr), hitting buttons to music (PnM), dj/mixer (beatmania, iidx), guitar (guitar freaks), drums (drumania), piano (keyboard mania or whatever its called), and dance with whole body (para para paradise, basically).
The only thing left really is voice.. and I don't think that would go down to well, they are already making one for ps2, i guess they will see how that goes. _________________

I'm all for the Fiddlin' Mania idea, because I play violin. But no music games where you have to use your mouth - imagine how unsanitary the controllers would get. _________________
