I saw this thread awhile back and decided to re-do it. So, here it goes.

If you could create yor own mod for a DDR machine what would it be?
It could be anything! I remeber someone actually suggested a "fart mod" where everytime you hit the arrow it would make a farting noise trying to mess you up.

If I could create a mod for a DDR machine it would be a speed mod. But not for just the arrows to speed up, but the whole song to speed up (like on SM).

Come on people I know you got lots of great idea's so lets hear them!

I don't know if this is already featured, but how about an invisible arrow mod. In invisible arrow mode you have to hit arrows on the dance pad and they only increase your energy bar if they are well timed with the beat of the music. Your energy bar is decreased if you try to cheat by hitting the same arrow more than 3 times.

I don't know if the above description makes sense, but think of a game of DDR in which the arrows are invisible and you must hit the arrows at the right momement anyways. However the game allows you to hit any arrow possible unless you try to hit the same arrow more than 3 times.

The above idea for a speed mod sounds great. I would play that all the time!

I like the idea for the invisible arrow. for those who dont understand the description its like "mystery beat on fusion frenzy for the X-box (i think) that would be a great idea. i got one addition to the invisible arrow mod though. First the 1st player makes the steps then the 2nd player gets to play the steps made. Then it goes the opposite way. Just an idea.

Guide Vanish(or something)- One to three of the guide arrows vanish leaving only one to three visible ones left. Arrows still appear(unless other mods are on) but it's like a semi-Dark mode.

Center- Guide arrows are in the center of the screen. Arrows will rise and fall to them but alternate. Like left and right would have left from the top and right from the bottom and so on, this includes jumps. Can get really hectic.

Outer- Guide Arrows appear at top and bottom of the screen. Arrows rise and fall from the center alternating, same with jumps too. Kinda like Center but the opposite.

Holy crap man, your mods are freakin' crazy. I as thinking something maybe along hte lines of a random step generator. The game takes note of the beat of the song and randomly creates steps as the song plays. There could be an "off-beat random step generator" too. Where the arrows are off-beat on purpose. E1.gif
