Exactly what indication is there that this is new? blink.gif This is the same page that's been up for years about the DDR Arcade Style Controller from Konamistyle's Custom Factory. They only produced a handful of them (probably around 100, maybe a little more), and I really, REALLY doubt they're ever going to make them again.

Nope, those pads are DEFINATELY not fake. I even have one. They're the best pad I've ever played on, a true arcade feeling.

I did some more reading through bablefish and these are not new. But I sure hadn't seen them before. I could be wrong but about 2 years ago I saw some special order pads from konami that were metal and they had the bars and everything. These are not them. Sorry for any confusion I caused. I was excited. Well, atleast I got some attention on Konami making metal pads. Maybe they'll read how much excitement that caused as a sign they should do something like this in the US???? No, they can't give cool things to USA kids can they... frown.gif

Obviously what I'm trying to get accross is that I'd MUCH rather have a FULL MACHINE than ONE pad disgust.gif

Ah, that's ok. Hmm, I've never seen those special order pads that had bars and everything. shocked.gif The Custom Factory pads were the only ones I'd ever seen, so all your excitement confused me. =P It would be SWEET if Konami of America did bring something like this over here, though. I wonder how well Capcom's Steel Batallion (with that HUGE controller) did here... if it did well at all, it might be an indication to Konami that there could be a demand for a premium DDR pad here.

Man, 1600 for that pad itself? Are they crazy? I can get 2 CF's for less than 1600 or get the pads of Channel Beat.

Speaking of which, how much does a arcade style single pad for playstation cost these days? Also, can anyone explain to me the aspects of raised buttons? I'm looking for a pad with the depressed arrows similar to the arcade version. I'm tired of losing my place on the pad and missing arrows. That sucks! I thought this might be good reference.
