reducing step vibration

I'm hearing a lot of good things about DDR and i want to buy it. My problem is the only place i can play it is on the 2nd floor of my house. All the jumping around on the pad could make a lot of vibrations which will cause my parents to get very mad and it could cause a light to burn out. Is there any way to reduce the vibrations enough so i can play?

Hmm, you gotta get a little creative here. Probably, do a plywood mod on your pad, and play on a bed, or on top of some pillows, or something really soft that'll drown out the vibration. Hope this helps

at walmart, or some other store that caries fabric, you should be able to buy batting, then oyu can get a few layers of it to cover the bottom and that should help
