Which DDR Mix Had the Biggest Impact On You?

Definately Konamix, followed by MAX 2 at the arcade. I can still remember getting wiped out by Dead End and Afronova Primeval basic .. and it took me wayyyy too long to pass Paranoia basic

I was raised on a 4th mix ,not plus ,but solo ,it had no bar ,it was the only ddr i got to ever play for about a year since it was in a bowling ally my parents went to all the time and ended up getting to 9's on it before i got to another mix. Now can't stand to play it since there is a lack of songs, no bar, its slippery, the pannels are harder than other mixes, and there is no grade above A so you have to full combo to get an A no matter the number of greats, but all in all it is the mix that had the most impact on me.

3rd Mix ver. Korea 2. Although the 1st one I played was a DDR USA, a lot of my major accomplishments were on that machine. It also helped that 1.) My sister worked at the arcade at the time, and 2.) It was about 10 minutes away, so I got to go there a lot.

Now I have Extreme, which is 25 minutes away, more expensive, and it not very good condition, but I still enjoy playing.

4th Mix + for me.

It introduced me to a wide variety of different genres of music portrayed onn DDR, and I grew to love all of them! The ALL Music Mode and the amount of songs also help give me the biggest impact for DDR!

DDRUSA was an impact on me because that is the first time I played DDR...lol I kept playing Dynamite Rave on basic...,but 4th mix is my desire to play DDR because that is the mix where I advanced to trick and some maniac songs...man I can't believe how you improve greatly from a beginner to where you are in skill right now....

The first one that I played was Extreme, but the one that had the most impact on me was MAX USA (PS2). I learned all my skillz on that game.

Interesting to see just how many new players pop up long after I've started playing. I started on an old US 1.5 Mix but the mix that had the greatest impact on me was 3rd Mix because of the number of (at the time) hard songs. Nothing on 1.5 or 2nd Mix could prepare me for songs like Afronova, Dead End, and Paranoia Rebirth. Oh, and not to mention double became a real challenge! La Senorita is STILL one of my favorite double maniac (heavy) songs EVER!

I was raised up on a game that was based on ddr but wasent ddr. But Konamix was the biggest impact b/c I learned everything from it. But now I will ocassinally play ddrmax.

Before all I played was 3rd mix, but nowadays I am playing 5th.

Max 2 will always be my baby. I started there and I've improved there. I'd also like to hug 5th mix because of the extended songs *hugs a random 5th mix machine* I only got to play it while I was on my 2 month trip to CA, but I met a good friend through it.
