Hello,
Not many except those who personally know me will really care, but today is my "6 month anniversary" (yes i know what an anniversay is) from when I started my weight loss plan. On January 3rd 2003 I started eating right, exercising, and mostly DDRing a ton. I went from a swampingly huge 247 pounds to my current weight of 161 pounds (w00t 86 pounds in 6 months). Sorry to anyone who isn't interested in this thread, it's just so much more powerful to see my accomplishment in writing. For those who are interested, just make sure to keep your goals and be hard (but not too hard) on yourself.

Its all good. I went from 210 to 175 in about 3 months and have stayed at 175 for about 3 months now. DDR can be awesome if done enough. _________________

You can get a work out and listen to DDR music with a good beat instead of some gym music...Great job. I am using DDR to help me stay this way (100 pound or less). |

Good Job to all those who lost weight with DDR. Keep it up! Its ironic how playing this videogame all day doesn't make you out of shape lol. _________________

I've been playing for about 6 months so far too and i haven't lose nothing i just keep rebounding from 180 to 175 and back and forth, maybe because i don't watch what i eat hhahahah. From now on i'll start eating good and i'll post the results later. I don't like playing ddr at home anymore tho the arcade is way better, maybe once i get a job and buy a cobalt flux pad then i'll get back to playing everyday. _________________

I weighted 150 when I started getting back into DDR (June 14 03) and eating right, and now its July 3rd and I weight 145lbs. I've lost 5lbs in 2 1/2 weeks thanks to DDR. I am doing 500cal a day workouts in DDR everyday, and taking in 1200cal (give or take) a day.
I think I only stick with it because its fun and and it makes you feel good after completing an large stream of steps. _________________

I haven't lost any weight, but I haven't gained any either. That's pretty good considering I take in like 3000 calories a day . |

Since I started playing back in dec 2002 in have lost over 100 pounds. When I started play I must have weighted over 310 pounds but now Im down to 205. I do also watch what I eat but ddr is the main reason I've lost so much weight. Of course I do play at home almost everyday and at the arcade once a week. |

I lost about 15 pounds in the first 2 or 3 months. Stayed that way for a loong time, and now I'm starting to gain a bit of weight. Most people who say this are lying, but I've gained a ton of muscle in my legs. So the wait gain is the muscle I have built in my legs for playing songs like maxx unlimited and paranoia survivor max. |

Well I'm a little over my 6th month mark but I've lost about 23 pounds so far, but we remember that muscle weighs more than fat and I've gained quite a bit of that in my legs. _________________
