I beg to differ as far as The Asletics are concerned. All their 5 key (and 7 key) stuff is awesome. Freakout all the way! |

If you wanted the truth, the reason I didn't like him it cause I thought November 20 sucked. But I had a change of heart the last couple days and it's not that bad. LoL. So it's cool. _________________

Anyways, DJ Nagureo is quite possibly one of the best artists in all of iidx (in my opinion). I like all his songs, especially kamikaze and patsenner.
And i honestly didn't know nagureo was tiger YAMATO. Cause i like all the stuff under that alias too |
Yeah, I didn't know Tiger Yamato was DJ Nagureo either myself. I do love the Luv To Me songs. _________________

I really like the DDR version of 20, November. It has an old school feel to it.
Oh, and if you still hate Nagureo after hearing Keep on Liftin', I pity you. _________________

I dislike how empty the song sounds. There really isn't anything to 5.1.1 but a weak piano and some background beat, that's about it. I'm not dogging the guy, I like his other stuff, but I just dislike 5.1.1. Hopefully that's a good enough reason. |
You hit the head on the nail, or whatever. He's right. Everything just sounds so plain and empty, and 5.1.1. I really dislike, just because all it is, is a quiet piano, with very simplistic beats going on in the background. 20, November, ugh, that's just bad. |
Thank you for repeating exactly what the previous man had stated. It helped me alot. |

seriously the only song i dun like from DJ Nagureo is obviously 5.1.1. i a way i like the fact that it has that dark feel to it, but IMO his best work comes under the Tiget YAMATO alias, and the original 20 November and Keep on Liftin' r genius |

Have you people forgotten about Savior (BM the Final)?
That has to be his best song...it's what 5.1.1. should have been. |

I stand by my original point. What an AWFUL AWFUL song. He's the Paula Terry of in-house artists. _________________

Savior is indeed fantastic. Makes me wish there was one last 5-key home release so I could play it. *sniffle*
As for Slake, he's one of those Bemani artists that doesn't stray too far from his root genres. His root genre *is* a little hard to get a grip on and like, and certainly he's spun off some crap (Laughin is the worst thing I've ever heard), but who likes everything one Bemani artist does? _________________

Counting aliases: NAOKI underground, Lion Musashi
Not counting aliases: sampling masters Mega (not sure if they are an alias or not...)
It's probably because they have too few songs to begin with...but they are good.
On topic: Two Days Of Love and Hold on Me are his best eurobeat-sounding songs. I also can't help but enjoy Peace-Out. I'm not fond of Kamikaze, however... |
