For the first few months when I was playing DDR, when I'm about 1/2 asleep and attempting to fall asleep, my mind wanders to DDR, and I visualized endless patterns of scrolling arrows. It's like when you're trying to sleep but your brain is still in high gear and you just can't stop thinking about things. Well, I couldn't stop visualizing arrow patterns! Does not happen anymore, and I still play DDR constantly. Has this happened to anyone else? _________________
I will stop playing DDR once I am offered at least a $25,000,000 shoe endorsement deal from NIKE. Until then, I'm on the pads till I die!

Not arrow patterns, luckily. But I did have a terrible sleep after playing Tetris for hours on end. All I could imagine is shapes and where I could put them. Really!
As for DDR, I've had a few dreams about it, but never knew there'd be a tread to discuss 'em! There was one where I was playing Doubles Versus (hold on) in that each player had another 4 arrows behind them to hit. For no reason, the L and R arrows of the back pad were stretched so bad, the down arrow on the back pad was like 8 feet away.
I had another dream where I was bustin' out some song I never heard of before on Doubles. I was doin' spins and everything, looking at the audience, and never lost my FC. The dream was so real I was going to write down the lyrics to the song as best as I could remember them, but you know how lazy you can be in the morning...

I dreamed of a DDR arcade machine made up of 4 pads with only one screen and a group of teenagers were holding hands in a circle, going round and round on all 4 of the pads...*Suicide Circle?* |

A loooooong time ago before I had ever played (or seen, for that matter) an arcade DDR, I had a dream I went into a storage room in the back of the local Mr. Gattis, and I saw a Dance Dance Revolution Konamix machine, though it wasn't plugged in.
It was yellow, gigantic and had Naki pads on top of steel slabs as the dance pads... heh... _________________

You mean like in the video for V featured in Beat Mania IIDX?
I have also never had a DDR dream. But I have had plenty of video game related dreams. |

Yeah.. I've had some dreams about Naru. There is something about her character. The anime finishes up really quickly and you never feel you got to know Naru's true feelings. Same with alot of characters. Well, maybe it is best that they left it that way, I wouldn't want them to really finish the characters off like they do in most animes, you know, close their story up so you aren't left wondering about anything. Love Hina is awsome because you could probably write countless fanfics using its characters and never really have to worry about interfearing with what happens in the plot.
But yeah...
I always always always have those dreams where you dream about all the useless crap that you don't really care about, and then right when you are about to get something good, the dream either stops, or you suddenly start to wake up.. funny how that works. |

Last night I dreamt my high school got two DDR machines for the cafeteria... it was really cool. But kind of odd. Because most people I know at my school either (a) have never played DDR or (b) are ashamed to admit they've played DDR. o.O _________________

This is a bit off topic... But I saw this thing on the news where this school got this huge workout room. And in it there were like three DDR Arcades in it. I think it was free for the kids. (D**ned kids... )
