Gallstaff watch out for those little kids in NY. I'm serious we got a kid that is 8 and can pass MaxX Unlimited, plus get an A on Exotic Ethnic (both on maniac). |

Once I was at an arcade doing Orion.78 (civilization mix) on light because I was tired from running around a whole amusement park, anyways, this 10 year old kid and his dad came up to the machine and started trying to imitate my moves to try and look cooler than me, when I finished the song, the dad was laughing like "what an easy song", so just to prove them wrong I did Healing Vision (Angelic mix) on Heavy. At the beginning of the song it goes from really slow to really fast, it threw off the kid and he started crying to his daddy saying "dad, he's better than me" and the dad patted him on the back saying "it's okay"
It was hysterical! In a cosmic sort of way _________________

that's funny.
Mine would have to be when I was playing the old 3rd Korean2 Mix at my arcade. I was bored and no one was lokking so i started doing some handplants on butterfly trick (I forgot the SSR code). so i notice a right arrow coming. I dive down by mistake and land on both of my hands and do a push-up, realizing I was about to crack my head open. I then bounce back up and continue the song, surpised, because my combo was still going. And the funny part is, I did it twice.

I was limping around with an icepack on my haed for the rest of the day. |
That does not sound like a funny DDR Experience... _________________

Ummm well. I'd rather not talk about it , but my most embarrassing and funny moment in DDR was at Garden City, in South Carolina. Well, ya see it wasn't my first time playing, and I was pretty good. So I figured, why not try to get a crowd up here at the machine? So I started doing some hand drops and i kinda slipped and fell. on my hand. I slid across the floor and off the platform. it wouldnt have been so bad if this really cute guy hadn't started clapping for me and I sat there on the floor, thinking about what had just happened. |

Funny...hm....once i stood behind the bar, facing the machine, and kinda hung myself over it so my legs were one side, my lower stomach on the bar and my hands on the pad, and A'd afronova basic _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

another funny moment/tradishion
me and the guys form groups to go play DDR down at the bowling alley...my friend mitch ALWAYS picks witch doctor as his first song...so we get so used to the song that we start singing along with it...its fuuny, when there are crouds the grown ups sing along, and when there are other kids in the arcade they just stare at us we turn around after the song and we look at the exspreshions on there face and it makes us crack up |

There's kind of a tradition here in Arkansas, that when ever we have a tournament, between rounds we give one of the Max songs a shot at doubles.
But the strange thing is we don't have just one person play it, we have 8 people play it, ON HEAVY.
Every person takes an arrow with their buttocks and they all play the song.
We have deemed it AAR, buttocks buttocks Revolution and/or buttocks Arkansas Revolution.
Imagine 8 people sitting on the pad using their buttocks to hit the pad. It looks like the most frick up game of Whack-A-Mole you have ever seen.
So far Max300 and Maxx UN, have been passed. But last big tournament in Jonesboro we gave Legend of Max a shot and failed 3 times, all on tape.
But at the tournament before last in Texarkana,TX(yes technically not AR), we had 2 of the people playing purposly messing each other up. Great fun.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally the funniest moment in DDR for me would have to be about 5 in the afternoon the day before a tournament, we are all in the motel testing out edits of songs with a hard pad that my roommate brought.
Someone had created an Edit to Era called UP.
Come to find out its just all up arrows, that keep going faster and faster as the song progresses.
My roommate is the first to test it and in the middle of the song he grabs onto the desk the is in front of him.
Suddenly he replies in the middle of playing
"Dude this is bad. I've got my hands on the desk and I am half bent over. It feels like I'm being anally raped."
Funniest thing ever. _________________

My friend Tiffani and I have this freestyle to Let's Groove and it involves jumping and putting our feet up to the screen and then landing on a freeze arrow, anyways, so I went to jump and I missed the screen and hit this kid's food tray that was on the side of the machine and I knocked all this food on the ground plus fell on my butt, and there was this crowd there and I was like... 'well I have never played this in my life, how could anyone do this, it's stupid!!!111!!' and then I left. Although I don't think the crowd believed me. Yes for Kristina. _________________

Without a doubt, my funniest moment was about 2 months ago, when I was freestyling to Kakumei Light. At that break at the beginning of the song, I placed an empty water bottle on the down arrow, ran to both sides of the machine, and BAM! the People's Elbow on the down arrow. It got me a Great, so I suppose I had it timed pretty well. _________________
